Chicken Express — Restaurant in Austin

9:57pm January 21 I went to the drive-through three minutes before closing and I asked they were about to close because I do want to be a hassle I know how it goes and all I ordered was fried okra and a sweet tea and I have to say I’m eating it now and it’s fire not meaning it’s spicy for you Elderly folk. No shade. But I’m sitting here in shock and awe that I never have been to this place and not to mention the young man which I didn’t catch his name because I’m very bad with names but I’ll get the learning that’s for sure ground I got to say that clean-cut fellow at the cash register that guy was fire and I know what you’re thinking I know what you’re thinking it’s not if you’ve ever worked in a restaurant Lori more specifically fast food restaurant you don’t want to deal with anybody three minutes before closing so I have expected to get some old okra which I was cool with dude I even said it when I was going to drive through dude I don’t want you guys have to go out the way I know it’s closing and it’s time to go home does Okra so good the way I’m still eating while voice typing this oh I forgot about the biscuits or rolls or whatever you guys call them. Anyways the service with SUPERBUY the food blew my expectations of what I would get three minutes before closing way out the water and straight into this sweet sweet tea did I forget to mention it Is also fire. Wherever owns that place found some good people to work for him treat those kids nice man. Or I mean sir no disrespect. I mean the suave guy are the clean-cut guy is what I said was giving me tips on if I came here at certain times of the day what’s the best thing to order them what goes well together ! !!!who does that three mins before closing without copping an attitude I’ll tell you who. Straight up professional. Thanks dude I’m sorry I forgot your name but I’ll be back to try out that stuff you told me I should order next time and I promise it won’t be three minute before closing.

This place is pure fire. Even if the food had been terrible which it wasn’t believe me it will it was not at all and I am now almost done with the okra while typing this even if it were just the positive attitude positive vibes got me, then to my surprise the food was can you guess ?

Absolutely worst customer service I have ever experienced. I drove 45 mins to come to the nearest chicken express due to being pregnant and wanting fried pickles and drove 45 mins back just to find out when I got home half of my order was missing. I ordered 4 piece chicken tenders there were two whole ones and one of them was RAW and the rest was scraps. I also ordered a bunch of different sides for my kids who were with me and half of those were missing. Including my fried pickles which I drove for. I spent about 40$ the guy at the window even missed a couple of things, didn’t add on a sweet tea or apparently mozzarella sticks among other things. So when I got home and saw this I was pissed and they were closed. I called the next day. Went back and forth got told I’d have to come in for a refund told them I wasn’t going to drive that far. They said they’d call back. I never got a call back so I called them. The guy laughs says he forgot to get my number and then said the owner would look into it. I get a call from the owner and he is extremely disrespectful says he checked the cameras I told him to check again because this wasn’t correct and it’s absolutely ridiculous after the poor customer service I’ve had and driving almost 2 hours while pregnant supporting a business I’ve been going to for years that they wouldn’t just do the correct thing. He proceeded to tell me no he wasn’t going to check again even after I told him the employees told him the incorrect items where missing and he wasn’t going to do ANYTHING to correct the wrong doings. I will absolutely never come back to any location again after this experience and I will be writing to corporate as well. Disgusting.

To add onto my review since you’ve responded and I’m unable to reply. That is absolutely incorrect. I had four different conversations with your team members and you as well and after the inconsistency and disrespect. I demand a full refund due to poor customer service when at first I was completely okay with a partial refund for the items I was missing. You continued to argue that you would not review the cameras again and continued to argue that you were going to do absolutely nothing for me as well as not even refund the missing items.
