My family and I entered this Chilli's after attending my cousins spring dance recital at PHS. 9 of us. 1030 p.m. Upon entering we were told that we'd have to wait 20 mins to be seated even though we could literally count on one hand how many tables were being occupied. A couple of us sat at the bar and ordered drinks and an appetizer. I asked for no ice in my drink and I do believe the bar attendant added either water or extra juice because it didn't at all taste like a drink. I didn't say anything because after 10 mins of waiting we asked to be seated in a table that had been unoccupied since we arrived. They were reluctant to give us the table that could fit all of us. When we were finally seated we got a server by the name of Mark. He was all over the place and really confusing when it came to ordering. He even told my mother, after we had already ordered from the bar "you shouldn't have ordered from the bar.. to make my job easier" Throughout the night we ignored the bad service, our drinks being refilled ONCE, the long drawn out moments of time we couldn't find anyone to even ask for a straw or extra napkin and the overall dead atmosphere in the restaurant. Not to mention our table was extra crowded with ALL of the plates and cups and silverware used that night because nobody seemed to want to clear the table. I ordered my brother, who was at home, a burger with my 2 for 22 but have it be made and brought out upon us leaving. It's now 11:33 p.m, we're getting our checks and we reluctantly order a dessert which came out in about 7 mins (that was the highlight of the night). I ask Mark to bring out the burger that should have been made and brought out upon my leaving. He goes right to the back and grabs it. (Red flag) he comes back and puts the burger on the table and walks away. (That's the last time we even see Mark for the rest of the night) Then this lady who literally appeared out of nowhere who we assumed was the manager begin to spastically pop up and disappear. We had several things wrong with the check and looked for someone to help us with it and a server from the other side saw us in distress and tried to help us. We had been double charged for atleast 3 things on there and we don't know if they thought b/c it was a big bill we weren't gonna check it but we did. I opened the burger and noticed it was hard and cold like not even warm to the touch. The bread was hard and crumbling and the fries were indefinitely cold. We found out the manger on duty name was JENNY. I came to her as a paying customer in her establishment trying to figure out why a burger I ordered 5 mins ago was cold. She proceeded to tell me "last call for the cooks is at 1145 because they close at 12 that's why your burger isn't fresh and hot" (her exact words) I was astonished. It wasn't I'm sorry I could get you another burger or something other than that lame excuse mind you we heard for the first time that night. We'd been thru 3 servers and nobody told us we'd basically be paying for hot food but getting cold food because it was the cooks "last call". She had no remorse, no responsibility, no emotion in her voice or face. After I showed her my disbelief in her attitude as a manger she then walks away unbothered! Mind you, my families trying to get to the bottom of why we we're never told any of this and now they have our money and the manager JENNY walks away like it's not her duty to help us. We're in mid convo btw. We're now in total disbelief as we see the manager JENNY handle herself and a simple issue in such an unprofessional way. She puts a condescending tone in her voice as we scream across the room (because she now has her back to us and is leaving our conversation without notice) what her name was, she tells us it's JENNY and she's the mod but the restaurant manger is CHRIS if you want to speak with him, almost like it's a rehearsed line, almost as if she knows she sucks at her job and she's had several moments like this. Tried contacting Chris no response left msgs too! I will be posting this in other...
Read moreI'm giving this a one star only because the food was delicious. My sister, and I to Chili's for dinner on 03/25/2022. We walked in to the chili's off I-35 right before Howard lane. We were never greeted by anyone, so we both thought maybe we should leave and go somewhere else, but we both wanted a steak that night, so we decided to take a seat in the bar area. I was surprise the bartender didn't even acknowledged the fact that we were sitting right in front of her. Good bartenders are usually pretty friendly, or at least acknowledged that you're there. I waited several minutes, before I said "hello". She's finally looked at us, and said what can I get for you today. Not a Hi, Hello, or how are you doing today? There was something in the air at that Chili's. There were employees yelling, and pushing each other around, and saying "Don't tell me what to do" I looked at my sister, and said omg...I can't believe they're talking out loud, and acting that way in front of the customers. I said to my sister they should definitely take that to the back. We didn't go there to see all of their drama. Anyway we ordered the Buffalo wings for a appetizer those were delicious. My sister, and I both ordered Ribeye Steaks medium well with Shrimp on top Loaded Mash Potatoes, and corn on the cob. we had a few bites of our Steaks, and Potatoes, and we were stuffed. Yes, we took our leftovers home, and I had Steak and eggs for breakfast the next morning. Our Steaks were grilled to perfection. It's too bad the service wasn't. I'll never go back to that particular Chili's ever again. I love to eat at places where its relaxing, and a good ambience, and yes we still tipped the Bartender well for the...
Read moreThe absolute most awful experience anyone could have!! I swallowed something that was slimy and looked like a bunch of spit in between the crust for my South Western egg rolls. It looked like spit that had been rolled up and fried and it was stuck in between the crust of my egg roll. I felt it go down my throat and I wanted to throw up when I looked at my egg roll and saw the other half sticking out of the crust it look like whoever rolled it up I don't know what they put in between the crust I don't want to know but I feel like I wanted to throw up and make myself throw up all night long. I was so disgusted. Yeah I don't think I'll be back I didn't even get my drink until after my food anyway and then the young man that did give it to me gave me a look like he didn't even want to be doing it anyway like I was bothering him and then on top of that all that in my egg roll I will never come back there I didn't even see my waitress until right at the end. I mean I just sat there until my food come out and I had to ask the guy that brought my food to get me my tea because I didn't even have a drink and then on top of that I had to ask him to go back because I wanted regular ranch not avocado ranch and I had ordered that but anyway this place was a nightmare I feel like I was that young man looked at me like I was bothering him because I had to ask him to do this for me it was just a really bad experience overall I probably will never be back in this...
