I went in recently for the first time at lunch on a Friday. In summary, decent food, slow service. A few people eating. No one up front at all. No problem gives me time to look over the menu. No one noticed me there for a good 10 minutes. I’m guessing all three employees were on a smoke break or something. The only reason they saw me was a group of 4 came in behind me. With that, I figured my order would be lumped in with theirs and it was. I ordered the classic regular meal deal (reg drink & fries & burger). I usually don’t do a double patty burger but it appears all the burgers except for kids menu are double patty. The iced tea wasn’t fresh (hit/miss in small places like this) so I poured it out for lemonade, a better option. My burger came just behind the group that came in AFTER me but not a surprise. (But the main reason I knock 2 stars off) The burger & fries were decent; the classic burger - with all the fixings - was a tad messy but that’s not always a bad thing. I would think most of the burgers on this menu are a little messy, but again not necessarily a bad thing. The generous helping of crispy fries were even better. Given the slow service yet decent food, for a better experience I’d recommend ordering ahead to go pickup or delivery. Experiences in small mom & pop places may generally vary and this is no exception. Above average...
Read moreIt was okay. Gimmick part of the place is that they put the buns on "inside out." This leads to an exceptionally messy dining experience. I ended up getting a knife and fork and eating the chicken out of the sandwich. Had the grilled chicken BLT and tater tots. Was okay. Hubs had philly cheesesteak. He seemed to like it - but his bun was "right side" out, so it wasn't a huge mess for him. (Confession: I generally do not like to eat with my hands to begin with.) In terms of service, my hubs got his sandwich after about 15 minutes of waiting. Then the people who came in and ordered after us go their order. A few minutes later, I got my order. And there was a fellow working on the tea machine who basically took up what little space there was with his cart. Customers had to work around him to get their beverage or just skip the beverage area all together. Not the friendliest guy, either. Seemed to be having a day of it. I would go back and give it another shot (but only if I am in the area - I would not make a special trip to eat there), but I will not be ordering a burger. I'll try something else. Oh, and last thing - it was about $38 (including tip) for burger, tater tots, drink for me, philly cheesesteak, onion rings, and drink for hubs. Inflation is really...
Read moreWe absolutely love the burgers here. However, there are some issues that keep us from ordering at this location: no available OLO options, no one answering the phone for pickup order, and DoorDash ordering has been disabled (although they have a campaign in place, so a little confusing). This location is the most convenient for us, as in super close. And because the food is so good, we’re ordering from the Round Rock location through UberEats (even though we were saving $10 through their DoorDash campaign at the local WB). I want to give this one the benefit of the doubt, because we have eaten from here, but even then, OLO was disabled. We were able to catch them on the phone to place pickup previously and it was absolutely one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. I really want this place to succeed, so this isn’t a submission of disdain & “ill never order there again”, but more of a “please do better because we’re huge fans & we like how conveniently you’re located”.
Signed, Someone who is a huge fan of the cheeesy double burger with chili & just wanted one to pair...
