I love Double Daves. Sad to see this place going down hill. I have been hearing lots of bad stories from peeps lately. I was shocked to hear this. I stopped going cause they stopped offering a buffet. The food was still good last time I was there. I bought a philly to go, it was good. I used to bring a ton of friends to this location every single week for the buffet, and new people all the time. Sometimes i would even go 2-3 times a week. Now none of us go cause it is gone. Best pizza buffet in the world. lol I don't know any pizza buffet that could hold a candle to double daves pizzaworks buffet. I hope they wisen up, and bring the buffet back. Most people can't eat more that a box of pizza anyway, and you can charge that price for the buffet. It is nice to get a lil pizza, a lil salad, and a little desert for the price of a box of pizza. People often get mad with long wait times for various reasons. Seems to me that for the buffets people didn't often have to wait long for the pizza. Yall were on top of it, keeping everything stocked. The one in Round Rock still has the buffet if anyone is willing to make the trip. I have, and it was worth the drive. Sad to say the southpark location is right by my house, and another down the road from me down william cannon, both don't do buffets. I have heard from friends that they are using covid as a excuse, and the other location on william cannon said they have never offered one. It is a good excuse, and a understandable one. That is just how the cookie crumbels I guess. Well most people are vaccinated now, and other locations still offer buffet. Might be time to fire it back up boys. lol Round rock has a buffet until 2 pm. I have heard there is still one on Anderson that does it as well. ...For those of you...

The only thing consistent with this location is how consistently our order is made incorrectly. Received a completely inedible order that was over $50.00 and tried to contact to discuss further in private and were never reached out to. Our pizza had completely raw dough and completely cold cheese with the grating still showing because it hadn’t even melted. This was a remake after our first order was done incorrectly. Wish I could attach photos they are atrocious and I wouldn’t wish that pizza on my dogs. Had two bites and felt sick for two days after. Really sad how downhill this location has gone with quality and customer service. How hard is it to remember basil on a margarita pizza? There are only two ingredients. we have been served tomato pizza several times with “specialty pizza” pricing because apparently no one at this location knows what a margarita pizza is.

The pizza we ordered was simple. Double cheese double pepperoni. The pizza that was sent to us had a paper thin layer of burnt cheese, no pepperoni.

I personally called the store to notify them that our order was incorrect, the manager at the time, Matt specified that he was the one that made our pizza and somehow didn't understand what we ordered. No worries, they have another one sent.

The second pizza somehow managed to look like Freddy Krueger's skin, completely raw and inedible. Tried to contact the store and was never returned...

I'm giving them 5 stars because their pizza rolls are amazing..which is why they were so incredibly busy tonight since that is the Tue special. I only have one complaint and that is they really need to have a separate line for called in ToGos. I called my order in and it was going to be 30 min before it was ready. Great! I need that long to get there. Well the line to the counter was literally out the door and I had to wait in said line, and I'm not exaggerating, for 28 min. So by the time I got to the counter and paid my order had been ready for a while as it was only warm and not hot. I actually live near Lockhart so I had another 25 min home. Got home and they were cold. Kids not very happy. But hey I still ate 3 lol. And like I said the rolls are so good and I would wait in that line again if I had to but I will call in the order from the back of the line next time. I would like to point out that the cashier and manager on duty tonight handles an angry customer very well and he was yelling and cursing them out about waiting for a called in order. ( he bypassed the line and got mad when no one helped him right away). So 5 stars it is and I will be back next time I'm in Austin on...
