Born and raised in Puerto Rico. Been in Austin since '18 and craving a good Puerto Rican spot. Finally found it. This place is authentic and very good.
Empanadilla de carne was terrific. Crispy and flaky on the outside. Filling was very savory. Potatoes in it were nicely cooked. Probably my favorite part of the meal.
Chicharrones de pollo were good. Crispy. Tasty. Rice and beans were also good. Needed a tiny bit of salt for my taste but I topically like saltier food.
Pincho was just ok. Nothing wrong w it at all. Just chicken thighs cooked properly and seasoned nicely. Nothing wrong w it at all.

I'm used to the mofongo itself being a little drier (not dry mind you) and mojo or caldo on the side. But it still tasted good and the end result is probably the same.
We'll be back. Glad to have good food from PR in the...

That said, the guy who took my order was really nice, and I appreciated the good service. Just hoping the food hits the mark a bit...
