The name sounded interesting. But it’s only a way to confuse all the desis and leave them hungry. I went there twice during normal business hours - once on a Sunday evening (timings listed are 12-8 PM) and again yesterday on a Thursday evening (timings listed are 3-10 PM). The timings on their website and on google showed the restaurant should have been open. However, both the times, we were refused food. The cook and the owner were present, and the owner said they were closed.

If they are closed, they should have a way to inform public. we drove all the way from South Austin just because the name sounded interesting and the food truck showed up on my facebook feed.

Utter Waste of time. The food truck is built to confuse all the desis. We were super hungry and had to find another...

Amazing food at this newly opened Indian food truck! The menu is currently limited as they only opened 3 days ago, but it's so worth the visit. My date and I shared the Channa Masala bowl, heaping with fragrant rice, a nice and crunchy avocado salad with yogurt dressing and a quite wonderful channa masala! The spices were perfect without overpowering and oh so flavorful. The owner was kind enough to give us an extra serving of paratha bread since we were sharing the bowl. The paratha was outstanding as well. To top everything off the owner also treated us each to a complimentary glass of mango lassi (my first ever) which was very creamy and tasty. Cannot wait to go back ASAP to check out the expanding menu offerings. Totally legit Indian food and Highly...

First time at this spot and I thought the food was legit! We ordered samosas and a dosa and both were served fresh and hot! Their samosas are crunchy from the outside and the filling tasted yummy! Just wish it was a bit more spicy. Otherwise it’s perfect. We ordered the Mysore Masala Dosa and it was spiiiiicy. Like a good burn, exactly how it’s supposed to be. Owner is super nice to talk to and cares about customers feedback. Ample of parking, place to sit, enjoy desi music and just overall have a good time :) will definitely be returning here or perhaps even cater...

➕ Go to Mumbai Street Chaat place in North Austin. ➕ They made really tasty Samosa Chat. ➖ The Dosa are not the ‘legit’ or the ‘standard’ legendary dosa. I ordered a Masala Dosa, which a signature masala dosa should be Plain Dosa + Aloo Sabji. But they made a twist in it and added some spicy dry masala on the insides of the dosa. Which turned out to be a big disappointment for me. Except the Dosas, I am pretty sure they could be nailing the Indian street food! I will definitely try more street chaat items next time when I visit KonfusedDesi.

This is the best Indian food in south austin, made by the nicest guy, Ravi. If you like paratha, why not eat your Indian food inside of one and have a tako? (and if you don’t, you need to see a doctor!) This pic is from the winter when they first came back to the neighborhood and my daughter and I had a celebratory mango lassi. I always get the samosa tako, but I branched out and had Gobi Manchurian last time and it was super delicious as well. I hope this gem stays in my neighborhood forever! PS Ravi sometimes makes dosas and idli as well

We absolutely love love love this place. First place in Austin where desi food actually taste like back home. Owner definitely has magic touch to his dishes. Ordered hungry Texan (chicken tikka masala) and lamb curry last weekend and couldn’t wait to order it again so dinner was konfusedesi tonight yet again. I also have ordered a catering order for this weekend. This place has become our go to place for Indian food nights. Please don’t over think and visit them for a nice comfort food night.
