Recently, they've been extremely stingy with their meat and toppings, which is one of the main reasons people like Jersey Mike's. I don't know if it's just this location, if this is some way of saving money during the pandemic, or what, but it's extremely disappointing. If I order a $20 sandwich and pay $2 extra for extra meat, I better not be getting a sandwich with over an inch on each end of the sandwich with no meat, and less meat stacked than you could get on a regular sandwich at Subway (which is pitiful in its own right). Then, I ordered jalepenos and banana peppers, and in total, on a GIANT sub, I got about 6 slices of jalepenos and 6 slices of banana peppers. That's like one every 3 or 4 bites. Even the amount of lettuce is lacking. The first time, we just thought maybe we got a new employee or something, but then ordering again, a giant with extra meat, and not even getting the former regular amount, it's clear they aren't interested in maintaining the quality they once had. We used to get sandwiches from here all the time, but maybe we'll take our business elsewhere in the future. I don't know how they ever thought we wouldn't notice such a drastic...
Read moreCraving deliciousness without carbs? Jersey Mike's "Sub in a Tub" is a game-changer for low-carb eaters. My go-to is the Original Italian piled high with savory provolone, ham, and a symphony of Italian cold cuts (prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami, and pepperoni). I get it "Mike's Way," with a tangy splash of vinegar, olive oil, and blend of spices which takes it to the next level. I always ask for extra veggies (onions, lettuce and tomatoes add the needed crunch) and add pickles and pepperoncini peppers for an extra burst of flavor. It's definitely a feast in a bowl for me, but sometimes my husband does add extra meat or bacon to his. It's not the cheapest option, but the quality and quantity are worth it. Plus, the staff here always make me feel welcome, even when I'm asking for "extra everything." This "Sub in a Tub" is one of my favorite low-carb “fast food” options– it's tasty, convenient, and fits...
Read moreHow are they open when shopping center has been out of water since Tuesday and as of Sunday mourning still currently no water. Heard from several customers and over heard a manager tell another person for few days were melting snow. So unsanitary, should be used on toilets only. I've noticed all the restaurants and Starbucks are closed in same shopping center for same reason, no water, even have signs up stating.. HEB even mentioned had no water. Guess Jersey Mikes has the magic touch. Would never eat somewhere with no water available, and serve cold food and produce they cut. Says s lot about the people running...
