Recommend this place if you're looking for made-to-order flavorful shawrarma or tasty vegetarian options around Cedar Park/north Austin. The food and service were great. Will be going back.
Details on the ordering experience: We weren't really sure how the drive-in style parking booths worked, so here's how: You park, scan a QR code to order and pay online by inputting in info including, your email and phone number. After submitting your order, it tells you the time your order will be ready. We waited in our car, unsure if we'd get a text or not. When we didn't get a text, we wondered if we should drive around to the drivethrough window or stay in our car in case someone came out to give it to us. The weather was nice, so we decided to eat at the few tables out front and we'd just go up to the building and ask for our order. I guess if you order from your parked car, you can drive around to the pickup window or step out to get your order from the front entrance. In our case someone friendly did come out to welcome us and hand us our order as we were walking toward the tables.
On the food: We were pleasantly surprised by the food. We love Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine, and this met our high expectations. It was flavorful and felt home-made. We loved that they had a lot of vegitarian options and will return when we're looking to eat healthier. On this visit, we weren't looking for healthy and the beef and chicken dishes...
Read moreDANGER: Made me pay for a burger they put some sauce on. You have to order yourself online. You highlight everything you want "build a burger style" to put on the bun. I didn't highlight cheese or sauce... I also didn't look to see if there was another place to say I didn't want anything else on the burger. I'm on a special diet, I can't eat that sauce. The kid wanted me to pay for another burger. I told him, you enjoy that burger, I'm never coming in here again. So the kidcomes outside after he talked to his dad. This time he was hyper focused on buying me a burger now. I said very politely, listen let me explain where the confusion comes from...he spoke over me as I was saying you shouldn't have things that automatically come on the sandwich if most of it is build your own. He heard nothing. Zero intention of fixing it. All they wanted to do is stop me from writing the review. I feel other consumers should know to be cautious. If it's your first time and some mistake happens, they are going to insist you pay for it. He also took a picture of my truck so maybe I should expect some form of retaliation? My truck recorded half of it. I was as polite as could be. The kid was the one amped up.
It's the next day and still no refund. They literally charged me for a meal...

Here’s what I like here… everything. My absolute favorite is the fried veggie sandwich… like WHAT?! I am a serious carnivore, I smoke briskets, I like my steaks cold and a little bloody, I eat SPAM, but this place, wow. The food is so fresh and good. Here’s what I order. Falafel (or course!) Spicy hummus (which is fantastic hummus all glammed out with colorful and delicious sauces) Zaatar fries (zaatar is this delcious herb/sesame/oil stuff, don't skip!) And for my main, the FRIED VEGGIE SANDWICH (wrap) is stuffed with rich delicious sauces. They also hit it with some pomegranate syrup, which just sends it to another level. OMG you have...
