Panda Express — Restaurant in Austin

because my car broke down (didn't plan this ahead of time) i had tried calling 3x to the store i ordered for online pick up as instructed by YOUR system. on the 3rd UNSUCCESSFUL attempt where my calls went unanswered, i contacted technical support to either delay pick up time or cancel order all together, no exactly efficient nor speedy process, i lost call. 2nd call to technical support with SAME problem & was told that the order will be cancelled & refund issued w receipt sent to my email. it NEVER arrived. so i contacted the store,by this time it was past 3:30pm & was told that the order WAS NEVER CANCELLED. explained what happened & told store assoc that i will be in way to pick up my original order. ARRIVED @ store to only be told that the order was picked up by UBER/or some other delivery method. i repeated my name several times & gave them my order number, finally after 3 back & forth of I HAD CAR BREAKDOWN & THEM NOT ANSWERING THEIR PHONE TO TELL THEM I WAS LATE, my order was fulfilled. WHY IS THIS SO DIFFICULT, when everyone is trying to help each other during this difficult time to keep everyone employed & keep their benefits, its a MELTDOWN. communication isn't a one way street. it takes 2 hands to clap. this will make me think several times over before i do any more pick ups from ANY panda express. your online process is painfully slow & not user friendly @ all. cannot check out as guest but NEED to sign in! this is by far the WORST i've ever encountered. cannot even send complaint efficiently via...

This location gives consistent good service however most of the time they dont have all their items prepared so what you choose from is limited in quantity. Portion size is good except today there was an older man serving and he provided the smallest portion I have ever received in all my years. Beware of the older man. He doesn't not provide what you want. Edit: I am always satisfied with portions unless a manager is serving food. Which they always serve food when they are there it seems just to not fill containers to the top but leave space. They also leave gaps inside the container to give the illusion they are filling it however its half the weight as usual and they seem to lack any human qualities on top of that. If it's at the end of the day, do expect to wait for them to cook one item which is fine to get something freshly cooked but like others say, they seem to get away with trying to serve you less quantity. Pray that a stingy mananger is not there serving you. They are programmed to rip you off. The supporting staff are always nice and work hard. I'd give zero stars for managers and 5 stars for the supporting staff. It shouldn't be this way. There's obviously a problem at least with this location and its managers female and male alike. Thank you to the supporting staff for always doing a great job chef included. As for the managers, you really should be trained...

My co-worker and I both got food poisoning from visiting this panda express. The day after, I called the restaurant to report the incident and was told the manager/owner was not available. They took my number and told me they would call me back. No callback. I called them again and finally managed to speak to the owner/manager. They claimed they would call Panda corporate to report the incident and someone would be in touch with me. No one ever called. A couple of weeks go by and I call Panda corporate. They have no knowledge of any incident. I report the issue and again am told some one will call me back. Never happens. I call again and finally reach their "risk" department which I assume handles food poisoning issues. Was told that unless I went to the doctor in the first two days or had a stool sample to send them, there's nothing they would do about it. So on top of getting about the worst food poisoning ever, I was lied to multiple times and was out of work for two solid days trying to recover from their food. Do yourself a favor and go to some other place like Pei Wei or Firebowl - similar price point but much...
