We saw the Vegan sign while on 620 ... why not check out a new (to you) neighborhood food trailer? A spontaneous visit indeed as we were in between lunch and dinnner and just wanted to taste what this place had to offer.
One caveat ... we rode ~40 miles earlier in the morning so two of us may have been hungrier, but the textures and flavors were fantastic, even for the one person that had not riden this morning. We were a group of three and everyone enjoyed the shared meal. The Vegan Taco had some crunchy deep fried tortillas in it and those paired with the fresh corn pieces allowed for a great texture that accomponied the other taco ingredients
The Vegan Torta had several different ingredients with Mexican rice being predominant. Again, this still had a great flavor combination and the bread was absolutely fresh and had a great texture to it. They had two full picnic tables and several camping style chairs for outdoor seating. The person that greated us was great as well. We will absolutely be back to enjoy some of the other...
Read moreI came here because of all the amazing reviews. Unfortunately for me I can’t give an amazing review. I ordered carnitas quesataco, al pastor tacos, salsa/chips and queso/chips. The edge of the tortillas on the tacos were chewy. The carnitas was dry. The Al pastor just didn’t hit the spot for me. It’s not bad but not mouthwatering either. The queso tasted like Mac and cheese minus the pasta and was very thick. Just not for me. I can see why others my like it. I love Torchy’s queso more. I expected the salsa with chips to be your typical red salsa. It was a very spicy yellowish smooth salsa. I thought it was queso at first. I could barely eat it was so spicy and I love spicy food. The chips were good. Thick, homemade tortilla chips. I will be back to try other menu items because I want to like this place and support the owners. I would Not say this is an awful spot. I can see why people love it. The ingredients on the tacos were fresh. I loved the thin slices of jalapeños on the tacos. That was a...
Read moreI'll start off by saying the food here is good, pretty much every dish has a kick to it, so just keep that in mind if you don't like spicy.... the reason it doesn't get five stars is because the customer service here is terrible....for being a local small business/food truck I feel like they definitely should be a lot more inviting, welcoming and appreciative of their supporting customers. I've gone here a few times and have interacted with a few different people that work here and it's all the same... I'm assuming it's a family business and that's why there's no expectations set but every single person I've encountered has been rude af, short, unwelcoming , unfriendly and just unpleasant , they rush you, And act like you are bothering them by ordering from them.... if customer service is your thing, this isn't the...
