My boys loved going to Bluebonnet! The teachers have degrees, experience and love in their hearts. The educational principles that the school revolves around are very developmentally appropriate for this stage of childhood: process art instead of product art; learning through play and hands-on exploration; educating the whole child; immersing children in books and stories; supporting their musical development; introducing them to a second language; and using their fabulous outdoor facilities (not only do they have playgrounds, but also a big field and swimming pool and waterpark) as extensions of the classroom. My younger son was a preschooler and left the school being able to read well above his grade level and with good math, writing and social skills to boot. My older son went to the summer camp program - he had SO much fun, made a ton of new friends and continued to grow socially, emotionally and academically throughout the long summer break. The owners are passionate about children and their development, the director is wonderful and the staff as a whole create a happy, nurturing environment that is a pleasure to walk into every day when collecting/dropping off your kids. You can watch what is happening in the classroom from your computer (there are cameras in each classroom) and as a parent you really become part of the school community yourself. Both of my boys cried on their last day of Bluebonnet, but are looking forward to summer camp again...
Read moreI was fooled by this school, they say their the best bc they have NAC & NAEYC accreditations but that does not mean anything they only have to do everything their supposed to in order to get the accreditations for the 2 days that the people are there after that they go back to the same ways. & they only get checked every 3 years for one & every 5 for the other. Not to mention the teacher turnover! Wow I had my child enrolled for about 5 months & there were new faces in every room! It was ridiculous!! How are the kids supposed to get used to the teachers if they keep quitting? Even the head of school they used to have Carrie was horrible! She had no idea what was going on in the school! Then the owner Nancy is such a rude person! I heard her tell the teachers "smile those are tickets coming in " every time I talked to her she was rude & she even called a teacher stupid I front of me!!! Who does that? And then the Lunch was nothing but frozen food, frozen vegetables & frozen fruits! & geez for snack it was carbs carbs carbs ! Oh and yogurt! They even had teachers work the kitchen because there cooks kept quitting!! People that were not even certified to be in the kitchen! Over all this school is HORRIBLE! I had to pull out , there's no way I could keep my...
Read moreWe loved it here so much! My son adapted so fast, he was only sad the first day and soon after was always happy. He started to wave to us to say goodbye and happily hung out with the teacher by the third week! This wouldn’t happen without caring teachers. We really felt the teachers’ love to all kids, and their passion to be a daycare teacher. We’ve been to another daycare for one week and I can see the big difference. That daycare the teachers only take it as a job, and seemed indifferent to kid’s feelings and sadness. Here, surprisingly all the teachers are all really nice and experienced. They know kids’ feelings and needs. This is an ideal environment for our babies to grow up. We’re really sad to leave. We’ll definitely recommend it to our friends. And if we move closer we wish we can come back. Thank...
