I love this place, know the manager, and eat here at least three times a week. I recently did a budget analysis and realized I spent over 2 thousand dollars here over the last eight months. I like the food, and the staff are friendly.
Thank being said, they are terrible at getting orders right. I order the same thing every day and always get a variety. I would say that they get my order right 3 out of 10 times. Obviously I still eat here, but I don't think I will in the future.
Its already a hassle because my girlfriend wont order anything when I head here for breakfast because they always mess up her orders too, but I was willing to make two stops. Let me say that again. I like the food enough that I will consciously drive out of my way to get the food even though my partner is getting food from a different restaurant and its more likely than not that I won't even get what I order.
However, today I got a breakfast burrito (the same thing I always get) and it had pork on it. I suppose that if you mess up an order enough ways you will eventually hit something that a person doesn't eat, but seriously, I don't eat pork, and as a restaurateur you should realize that there are two meats that people don't eat for religious reasons (beef for Hindus and pork for muslims). now, I'm not religious, but it always offends me when either of these ingredients is added to a meal that doesn't have them because you are strait up taking the chance that you are causing someone to sin. I'm vegetarian, so I ordered a meal without meat on it, but I know people who order meals without meat specifically to avoid one or both of these ingredients. serving a burrito to me with pork on it is annoying, but if I were muslim you'd have just made me commit a sin (how would I know before I ate it?). Just leaving this review because I'm hoping restaurateurs will be more...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at La Vallarta Restaurant, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. This hidden gem nestled in the heart of the city exceeded all my expectations, leaving me eager to share my delightful encounter with others.
From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The interior design, with its vibrant colors and traditional Mexican accents, immediately transported me to a place of cultural richness. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and exuded genuine hospitality, making me feel like a valued guest throughout my visit.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the food. La Vallarta's menu boasts an impressive array of authentic Mexican dishes, each bursting with bold flavors and made with the finest ingredients. I started my culinary journey with their flavorful guacamole, served alongside freshly made tortilla chips. The guacamole was creamy and well-seasoned, a perfect combination of avocado, lime,...
Read moreI came here for breakfast on a weekday morning and was left very happy.
I ordered the Huevos Mexicanos which are two eggs (to order) topped with molcajete sauce and served with beans and potatoes. I also asked for a side of their red and green salsas. The potatoes and beans were pretty standard for a little Mexican place. The eggs (over easy) were perfect. But the real star, in my opinion, were the salsas. All three were delicious and had a great spice level.
The service was great too. My server was friendly and regularly checked to see if I needed more coffee or anything else.
I look forward to visiting La Vallarta again to try some lunch and...
