El Pollo Rico #13 — Restaurant in Austin

The food tastes good here, however my reason for this rating is because on Several occasions I come to the restaurant and they ask what I would like, but they NEVER give me what I ask for. I’m tired of that. One time is an accident, maybe twice, but almost all the time.. if you’re just going to give me what you want me to have I should be able to pay whatever I want to pay. If you don’t agree then start getting the orders right. I ordered a burrito with NO beans I said no beans three times. They put beans on it anyway. That’s happened more than three times. Not just at this location but almost all of them do that. I ask for only green sauce, but they give me red sauce anyway. I was in the drive thru and I asked the lady before I left if she gave me green sauce and she said yes. I get down the street and looked and there’s red sauce. I bite into the burrito and there’s beans 🙄🙄🫤😫 it’s a shame because I love the way the chicken tastes but the service is trash at this point. This is the second time i’ve ordered at this restaurant to find roaches inside my food. My wife was about to finish her tostadas ricas when a roach cane running out.

The first time I lived far and did not have the time to come back. The second time i called and went back out of rage. The manager did not speak english or made an attempt to even communicate with me over the phone. I went to the store and spoke spanish to him. He then pretended to not care or believe me. This is even though i returned my food complete. My wife was the only one who almost finished her food (later vomited).

Manager acted bothered by me than me for the fact that roaches were in my food! They wont spray this roach infested restaurant! Beware!

So today I went around 4:45pm and the cashier took our order which is was whole chicken I don’t know if his racist because of my husband or what but he took all the other people order gave them there food and we’ve been waiting a guy got a whole chicken for here he got it that minute because I saw the cashier get everything from the warmer that comes with it I’m like seriously this cashier couldn’t do it and we waited 20 minutes till a lady said did u get there food that location need a better cashier that knows what there doing or fix the issue on communication or something horrible service we had to indure.
