Not very friendly to English-only speaking customers. It even seemed as though she was talking about us and smirking to the other customers waiting behind us. Luckily, a Spanish plus English speaking customer offered to help us. He was very kind and helped us make decisions and relay our wants to the associate. We ended up getting a fruit cocktail and 2 scoops of ice cream. The ice cream flavors aren't labeled and she clearly wasn't willing to help us figure out each flavor, so we just pointed at 2 and hoped they were good. They both were mild in flavor, but nothing spectacular. The fruit cocktail had mango, honeydew melon, watermelon, cantaloupe, lime juice, spicy red sauce-just mildly spicy. There was also cucumber and jicama if you wanted those and chili powder for more spice. Sounded great, but nothing spectacular. Those two items cost $11. We obviously will not return with such poor customer service, but there were many ice cream and shake options and food that looked...

So glad this place opened!! It is DELICIOUS, authentic, and affordable.

Elote 5/5 - must get. Generous on the crema. Good spice. Ive tried with white corn and with yellow corn. I think i like the yellow corn version better.

Mangonada 5/5

Ice cream in waffle cone 5/5 - we tried the double scoop - one strawberry and one cherry/chocolate.

I will probably be back here every week lol

——UPDATE——

They added food to the menu!!! I tried the fajita taco, and it comes with guac and grilled onions. Delicious.

Im not sure what their food hours are though, because i have been a couple times at night and they werent serving food anymore.

Fresas con crema 5/5 - this this is one of my new favorite things!! They pack it up with strawberries. The creme is perfect consistency. Top with a...

Do you like ice cream? Do you like corn? Well I have got a place for you.

Dos Mangos is a “snack” place that specializes in Hispanic snacks. What sets them apart from other Hispanic “snack” places is the quality and cleanliness of their facility.

They have the BEST ice cream in Austin and here is why… They have Gansito ice cream that they make in house. They have ferrer roche ice cream also made in house. If you like either of these things then you MUST go there.

They also have amazing horchata and some of the best elotes I have ever had.

Please support this business as they are the best at...

Excelente tiendita con nieve casera y elote mexicano BLANCO!!!!! (They sell both yellow sweet corn in the cup or white Mexican corn in the cup!!🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽) It was our first visit after hearing about its opening down south at the Cannon Square strip, and I was torn between trying the Mangonada and the Pepino Loco. But then I saw that they sell my favorite dessert ever: Funnel Cake. So I ordered the Funnel Cake with Strawberries and whipped cream. It was on point! Crispy, just sweet enough, batter seasoned!❤️‍🔥 I had been craving some for years and it was perfect! Can’t wait to be back for the paletas.
