Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Austin

I've called the restaurant and they never answer it attempted numerous time and even on different days they still don't answer. Sl I would go and place the order in person. This time I placed an uber eats order and its been over an hr and still no update. So I called and still no answer. Soni decided to go and check my order in person. When I got to the drive I told them I was already upset and wanted to know my order since it's been over an hr. I also told them I've been calling nearly 20 times and they still didn't answer the phone. All they said were busy. Thats when he stopped talking to me in the drive thru. So when I got to the window I showed him the app and said sorry we can't help u with anything and I told him how u guys busy theres not even a car and u all are standing around doing nothing. That when I get threatened that they were going to call the cops. I'm like really just because I told u the truth. They just don't want to be told the truth. I would never recommend anyone ever to order from this place or restaurant. It seems like they hire trashy people to work there. I'm refusing to ever give them business again for what they did to me. We waited an hour and a half for a DoorDash order and had two dashers cancel on our wait. When I called the store whoever answered told me that there was absolutely nothing he could do to check where my food is. I’ve worked in fast food for a long time and I’ve worked with DoorDash. If the customers app says “…is working on your order” that means they’ve received the order. So when I asked him to locate it he said he couldn’t, when locating it only takes reading names off of receipts. The food got to us 40 minutes after my second phone call to the location and it was cold to the touch. It clearly was not only sitting out for more than an hour because a wrapped burger was room temperature and the deep fried fries were cold, but it wasn’t under any kind of heat lamp to at least mask that the food was sitting out for a long time. The lady that took our order in the drive thru, Cici, was very rude. She interrupted my husband several times while he was ordering. No friendly voice, no manners...definitely did NOT need to be in a customer service position with that attitude! Then we got to the window and found out SHE WAS THE MANAGER. The guy who actually gave us our food was nice, confirmed our order, got us the sauces we needed. I've worked in management for two different national chains for years and I can't believe the way she was treating customers! Forget demotion, I would have been FIRED if my bosses caught me handling orders like that. I certainly hope someone sees this and maybe reevaluates their opinion on her being a manager. Sheesh.
