POPEYES HAS AN EXCELLANT PRODUCT WHEN DONE RIGHT. THE PROBLEM IS FEW TIMES DO YOU HAVE POPEYES BEING MANAGED THE WAY THEY SHOULD. MOST FAST FOOD PLACES HAVE CORPORATE SUITS THAT INSIST ON USING THE "CHURN" MODEL OF DOING BUSINESS. THEY KNOW SO MANY PEOPLE WILL QUIT AND WHAT AMOUNT OF PAY THEY WILL AFFORD THEM AND THEM DOG THEM ANYWAY. THEY ABUSE THE MANAGERS BY MAKING THEM WORK SOMETIMES 65 HRS A WEEK. WHEN YOU ARE WORKING THAT MANY HOURS, YOU ARE NOT MANAGING. THE MANAGER BURNS OUT AND QUITS, OPEN THE DOOR HIRE ANOTHER AND REPEAT. SO, THEY DO NOT HAVE ANYONE THERE THAT KNOWS HOW TO RUN A POPEYES. THE PRODUCTS LIKE THE CHICKEN TURNS OLD FAST BECAUSE THEY DONT WANT TO PAY FOR THE LABOR OF COOKING LESS PRODUCT MORE OFTEN. IF YOU GO HERE, YOU HAVE TO DURING PRIME TIME OR EXPECT TOUGH OLD CHICKEN. THE SIDE ITEMS ARE GOOD BUT EXPENSIVE. RED BEANS AND RICE ARE CONSISTANTLY GOOD. COLE SLAW IS GREAT . BUY THE LARGE SIZES OF SIDE ITEMS WHEN POSSIBLE BECAUSE AT THIS LOCATION THEY DONT ALWAYS FILL THE SMALL CONTAINERS FULL. DRINKS ARE TERRIBLE. EVEN THE ICED TEA IS NASTY. THE PEPSI FOR EXAMPLE HAS AN OFF FLAVOR THAT REMINDS ME OF COUGH SYRUP. TENDER STRIPS ARE GREAT IF THEY ARE MADE TO ORDER BUT THEY SCREW THIS UP TOO IN ORDER TO PUT THE PRODUCT OUT THE WINDOW FASTER. I WOULD VISIT THIS PLACE 3X WEEK IF THEY COULD GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER BUT THAT HASNT HAPPENED IN YEARS ! IT ALSO WOULD BE NICE IF THEY COULD CLEAN THE LOBBY SOMETIMES. Giving this Popeye’s a 1 star is overrated, but it was what I had to give in order to write a review. The customer service is HORRIBLE and even this is too good of a description. I went thru the drive to place an order, when I got guy (I later found out is the manager) asked if he could help me several times, I told him give me a moment. Then when I went to tell him my order he rudely told me, just a minute there is a car at my window. I asked him why did he ask to help me if he wasn’t going to take my order. He again rudely said one minute, I have a car at my window. What confused me was the car was at the window when I pulled up and I saw it along with the other car that was directly in front of me, so I wasn’t sure why he felt like he needed to tell me this. Because I already saw it when I pulled up. I told him never mind I no longer want to order. Unfortunately when I was trying to reverse out of the drive thru a car pulled up behind me and I had to wait the 20 minutes for him to give the 1st and 2nd car their order. So not only are they rude but extremely slow as well. Honestly, they don’t deserve the 1 star I gave being generous. Going for Popeyes holiday turkey? WATCH OUT.

I just bought one of their baked/fried turkeys from the Wm Cannon & So Congress location. It was spoiled, we got sick.

I returned to the location with the receipt, original packaging, and turkey and asked for a refund. They refused to refund my VISA charge of $60.

The manager stated it would have a negative impact on their daily receipts/revenue if she refunded the charge.

They said they didn't care if i reported this incident to the health department or left a negative review. They said they wouldn't call the corporate office to get clearance for the refund. They said if i didn't leave, they would call the police.

I said, returning a turkey for quality issues is no different then returning a bad piece of chicken. Again, they said they didn't care. They were more interested in reporting a higher daily revenue.

They offered me nothing. Not even a replacement turkey.

BUYER BEWARE.

Other Issues: Was frozen into an odd shape. It could only be cooked and served on its side.
