Over the past several months, this location continues to progressively get worse both in service and food quality. First, it was you give your order, then they would give you the total at the window. By the time you get to the window, they would ask you to repeat your order so they can stay on track with their drive thru times they have to report and all the while you are fumbling for your method of payment that you could have had ready had you known the total at the speaker in the first place. Then the wait times in the drive thru worsened. Orders were and still are being taken down wrong. You have to repeat yourself multiple times at the window, and wrong orders are being handed out or are missing items. Food is often cold or prepared wrong. My most recent visit I finally had had enough and talked to a manager. I pulled into the drive thru #1 lane as there was someone at the speaker in the #2 lane giving their order. I watched as that car finished their order and move on to the window. Immediately, the speaker for me came on and the guy told me to please hold on a second. Given that it was busy, I figured this will be a few minutes. In the meantime, a car pulled up in the #2 lane. After about a minute, the speaker came on for the #2 lane car and took their order and they proceeded to the window Next, the speaker comes on for me asking for my order. I gave my order and before he could confirm back what I said, he told me to hold on a second again. After another minute, he came back on to repeat back my order and soon discovered he had only taken down part of it and so I had to give him my order again. By the time I got to the window to pay, the guy repeated an order and total back to me that was not my order. He then started to repeat another order, that was also not mine. Then he asked what I had ordered. Again, I had to repeat my order and was rung up at that time. Apparently, he never rang it up in the first place. I then asked for the manager as I wanted to lodge a complaint to him for the poor service. After a few minutes, the shift manager popped his head out of the window and nonchalantly asked me what the problem was, all the while looking out towards the parking lot versus towards me. I proceeded to explain the issue, and instead of apologizing and asking what can we do to fix or help to make right, he goes on the defensive saying they only had 3 people working and that they were just busy because of it. I said that I understand they are busy but it shouldn't translate to unacceptable service from the speaker to the window and having worked at a McDonald's years ago, this was not the way to approach things when you have limited staff. He gave me an insincere I understand and an I'm sorry and then he walked off. So no real acknowledgement of the issue. No "I'm sorry, we'll do better next time" and no offer to comp my $3.50 meal for the trouble. Instead, I discovered upon leaving, the original guy who took my order, put a large fry in my bag instead of the small I ordered, and adding insult to injury, the...
Read moreThe service was horrible !!!! At 1030 on a Monday the Hispanic woman taking orders did not speak enough English to repeat the items ordered. We pulled up to the first window to have her repeat it. She then repeated an incorrect order 3 times. After asking to speak with a manager, another Hispanic woman who also did not speak good English continued to repeat the wrong order. After several minutes of attempting to get the order right she informed me we would have to wait 10 min for them to start serving lunch. It was 1045 at this point. She then asked if we wanted food or wanted to make an order. At that point we asked to speak to the general manager. She ( Lily- suppose to be mang)stated that she was the only manager at the store. I asked her for the GM's business card and phone number. She said she didn't have it, or a card or her. Then after sever minutes of asking for her superiors I formation and being denied I let her know I would be contacting corporate McDonald's to let them know how this store is being run. Suddenly she knew the GM's phone number by heart and wrote it down for me. Then suddenly she knew the order and had it ready at the next window. I then proceeded to contact the GM ( her name is Happy) who said the manager ( Lily) is capable of speaking very clear English. She stated that she couldn't understand why she ( the manager) didn't want to make the order. Then asked me to repeat the order ( hot n spicy, fries, tea, fish, 20 nuggets) and she was blow away that we were having such an issue with it.
This is not the first time myself or people we know have had this issue with this location. This location Is very busy and needs to be restaffed with employees who are at the least educated in English and CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!! There is no excuse for having employees who do not speak or comprehend the...
Read moreGot food poisoning from a Sausage McGriddle with a round egg and cheese on Jan 10th around 10am. I eat at McDonald's maybe 2 times a year and this is the only dish I order (it's just so yummy).
I noticed the round egg wasn't fully cooked and a little runny. Crazy thing is that the runny yolk made the dish yummy (I love over easy eggs etc). But never ever has McDonald's served me a runny round egg. Their standard practice is a fully cooked round egg. So I'm assuming it is from the runny yolk that I got sick.
However, with that said, everyone knows most food poisoning from restaurants is from employees not washing their hands. The two employees I engaged (drive through window 1 then 2) we're both very kind and professional, but clearly immigrants with broken English. I add this info because maybe they don't understand US laws and why we have such high food safety policies & procedures such as washing hands after peeing & pooping etc.
I am so sick with nausea and diarrhea that I've decided to never trust a McDonald's again. I'm retiring my twice a year McGriddle adventures.
Dear local manager, retrain your employees on hand washing. 20 seconds minimum with warm water and soap. I should not have had...
