Updated: Newks great! Im back as a regular now.
Everything else was good except one really, REALLY BOTHERED me. Came last Thursday for dinner. When I walked into the restaurant, the receptionist/cashier came from the back to greet me and took my order. I noticed he had only one latex glove on his right hand. After I ordered my food, I walked towards the back to get drink and napkins, that’s when I noticed that very same person with the one latex glove is actually in the middle of changing trash bags..... I grossed out. He literally handed my drink cup with that gloves hand which was used for changing trash bags....
While I was waiting for my salad, I started to observe and wonder when would he take off that glove...... sure enough, he was using the VERY SAME GLOVE (which he was changing the trash bags) to refill complementary toppings, restock straws and napkins, wipe down counters and fountain drink area.... then he was also delivering my salad, wearing the VERY SAME NASTY GLOVE on the right hand..... he also cleaned tables indoor and out... picked up plates and bowls left by customers..... he was definitely hard working, very productive with his job, BUT, not in a sanitized way at all.
It’s definitely potential health hazard issue! This is NOT how you supposed to over use that glove. Especially, it’s contaminated with those trash bags.
I work in health care field and very strict with how and when to use gloves. I STRONGLY suggest that Newks take this seriously and take some time to train your employees to CORRECTLY use their gloves. If Newks is on a budget of gloves, then I HIGHLY recommend just have your employees to WASH their HANDS after each task, specially after changing trash. I was so grossed out, I didn’t want to imagine the staffs in the kitchen. They wear gloves to prepare customers food, but what else do they do with that gloves? Ugh...
Seriously, this is unacceptable!! (2 stars just for...

Ordered the small soup cup and small side and did not realize I was charged the large portion for both and ended up spending about $40 for two people for one pizza, two soups, one Mac and cheese and a fountain drink. The current cup was beautiful (Ovarian Cancer Awareness with turquoise butterflies), however, I asked for a fountain drink and was automatically charged the cup which I did not want nor need. Again, it is beautiful, but I did not need it and raked up my bill unnecessarily. Sweet Tea tasted water-down, both the Splenda sweet tea and regular sweet tea. Could not even end up a cup of either one. Ended up switching to soda. Next to the soda fountain machine was this lady by herself long after finishing her food speaking out loud comments that did not make sense and was making incoherent comments every time we went for a refill. The place was mostly empty (five tables at most while we were there) but the Manager nor the employees seemed...
Read moreNukes has a wonderful ambiance for an order at the counter/front desk casual dining restaurant. It is a more upscale Quiznos with a broader menu. Their serve yourself add-ons like, pickles, peppers, cappers, roasted garlic, etc will broaden the customization of your entree's flavoring. They have the individually packaged breadsticks people like. Our sandwiches and soup came in about 10 minutes. They had goat cheese on them and were warm to hot. The chicken tortilla soup was ordinary an thick and not brothy as I expected that kind of soup to be. The sandwiches had an Italian flavor...even on the turkey avocado. I enjoyed the fact that there was a sink outside the bathroom if you only needed to wash your hands. So, if your in the mood for hot sandwiches, custom pizzas, and soups for a quick sit down dinner I would recommend this place...
