I had a very disappointing experience at this Starbucks this morning that caused me to be late to work. I went through the drive through. once I got to the window the girl at the window started to sing me the “ Ariel the little mermaid” theme song (my name is Ariel). Which, is fine I understand these people are trying to do anything to constitute earning a tip within their 5 second interaction with customers. Although, obviously her singing to me was very awkward at 8 in the morning - I was nice. Anyway, I get my drink and it’s completely wrong. I paid extra for customizations and received none of them.
So, I pull in, park and go outside. Inside, I speak with another employee and politely have my drink remade (with no refund, no extra item thrown in, nothing to make up for this mistake that’s going to cause me to be late to work). While waiting AGAIN for my drink, the employee at the drive through that I had the awkward interaction with is talking about me to her coworkers veryyy loud. I’m sitting there just waiting for my drink and I’m constantly hearing my name in these girls conversation about how I “didn’t laugh” at her singing to me. It was soooo uncomfortable sitting just hearing my name over and over again. I would like to speak to a manager about this… it’s one thing to mess up an order but having to wait for it be fixed and listen to your employees talk about me was...
Read moreI purchased a pumpkin loaf on 01-23-24 after 4pm. The pumpkin loaf made me sick. I woke up the next day at 2am on 01-24-24 feeling dizzy and having nausea. The only think that I can pinpoint my food poisoning to is how the pumpkin loaf was warmed up. It was placed on an already used contaminated spatula and a black tray that looked like it was used to warm sandwiches that contained meat and cheese then placed in the small oven. The employee who warmed up my pumkin loaf was very young and may not have been properly trained that you can't used the same spatula and black tray to warm up cake loaves and sandwiches containing meat and cheese. He used the same spatula to place my pumpkin loaf in the paper bag. I hope the manager reviews the cake loaf warm up procedures. I have been sick most day with...
Read moreThey were so helpful. I don't go to Starbucks often, but the last time I visited I asked why my chai tea latte sometimes tasted more watery and other times less. The barista informed me it was likely do to the temp at which they heated the milk. So when I visited this location I explained how I wanted the milk warmed vs steamed as that's how the last barista I spoke with discussed it. This woman informed me they actually had a few different settings and asked since it's hot out today you want to try it at the kids temperature. My latte came out perfectly and I was so excited to learn how exactly to request my drink in the future. She didn't get frazzled or upset at my request and had perfect...
