This store is plagued with Technical Difficulties. Placed an order online b/c I had a coupon: 30-Min I got email from Customer Support that it was canceled due to these issue and to call the store to order direct.
Call the store number and placed the order, thinking I was speaking to the store direct as I call their local number listed. Told delivery would be 35-45 min. 1 hour and 20 min later no pizza but a charge went through on my card including tip.
Call the store and get out on hold twice but after 15 min it disconnects b/c against their systems are having issues. 3rd time the guy answers he is very RUDE coming in hot, yelling that I keep calling and it’s our for Delivery. If not there in 15 min call back.
20 min later, still has not arrive and I call back and speak to John the Manager. He says there is no order under my name, address, or phone number and they can not look up by card. That who I placed the order with direct was not their store front but their call center helping them with orders due to the issue but as there is no order there is nothing out for delivery. Direct contradiction to what his staff just told me right before.
At this point there is no offer to make and deliver now and I was told with no order they can not process a refund but since there is no pizza coming with a receipt to sign that charge on my card will drop off overnight. If not to call John back tomorrow.
I understand the technical difficulties are out of this store’s control but how they address and handle customers is and it is very concerning when a Manager has to get involved and can’t find order, issue a refund, etc.
I hope Papa John’s corporate helps this store out and gets their system back on track, b/c it is real shame otherwise. Also, hope manager John ends up having a better day and is able to get his staff to speak to customers more appropriately w/ accurate info...
Read moreWorst experience! Where is zero stars? I see a lot of people complaining that they don’t get their orders from DoorDash and I see why! As a delivery driver I was there and waited for 20 minutes. I understand they were backed up. He handed me one order when I clearly said two names and went back there to do some more work and I see my other order sitting on the counter and I told him that I think that’s my other order, mind you I told him politely and he told me to back away from the counter he did not care to give me my order. He was being extremely arrogant going on a power trip when I am just trying to deliver my customer his food and because I gave him attitude afterwards telling him “well I clearly gave you two names and you only just handed me one and left me.” He just was more concerned about me being close to the counter. I see why the customers are not getting their food, instead of him coming and handing me the food that I’ve been waiting on for over 20 minutes. He wants to argue about where I’m standing even when I back up close to the door, he still doesn’t care to come and give me the food he continues doing more orders. I have never experienced such rudeness, and that gentleman was extremely disgusting this evening. Then he has the audacity to tell me that I can unassign myself from the order if I want to, for what? When the order is clearly ready! To have another Dasher assigned to this order, more time wasted on the customer...

I walked in asking to pick up my order and the staffer who claimed later to be the manager said it was not ready and the app was wrong. I asked when my order would be ready, she stated they had not even started making the order and there were a lot of other orders ahead of me and she was the only one working. This was 45 minutes after I had placed the order online and it stated it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I told the staffer I wanted to cancel the order and get a refund. She proceeded to shout at me that she was the only one working again and that she would cancel it later when she had time to get around to it. I told her I wanted it canceled now as I wanted confirmation the order would be canceled. She yelled that she was not going to move from her place to cancel my order and refund me as me being there in person did not make me more important than all the orders she was working on, and claiming they were ahead of mine. She then shouted that if I did not like it I could just leave her store and never return. I told her once more I wanted a refund and she just yelled that I could just leave.
