We called the restaurant 30 mins before they were due to be closing for the night. We ordered one large pizza, and that’s it. We get a call back about 15 seconds after hanging up from some guy stating that he didn’t have any delivery drivers this late to deliver our pizza. Okay, not a big deal, we told him we could pick it up right away. His response was “well how long until you get here because we’re walking out of this place in 30 min” We told him we could be there within 10 minutes. He went silent for about 15 seconds, I’m assuming he was contemplating how else he could get us to cancel our order. We aren’t from the area, just in town for a concert and most of everything was already closed, pizza was out last hope. Finally the guy on the phone speaks and repeats that they will be walking out there door in 30 mins regardless if we make it to the restaurant before then or not. After going back and forth with this guy, we can to the conclusion that he just didn’t want to cook our food. & we didn’t want to risk having them do something to our food. So we kindly asked for a refund. His mood perked up after that. He said “sure I can do that” and then he hung up the phone.I have never been so disappointed with papa johns. Read moreI ordered a spicy sausage, chicken and spinach pizza and 2 orders of spicy lemon pepper wings. My order was wrong and Tony was very nice and understanding. He was willing to replace the whole order and pay for delivery. My husband and I decided that we wanted to reorder our replacement order and no one ever answered the phone after calling multiple times for over a hour. My husband ended up having to go to the store and Tony remade the wings. However, the order was still incorrect. He informed us that they are short staffed! I called multiple times in the last week to speak with a manager and no one answered. I went to the store on yesterday to speak with the manager (Jack). He was very rude to me and his customer service is absolutely terrible! As a manager, he needs better training or doesn’t need to be a manager. He slammed his hand on the counter at me, asked me what do I expect or want him to do. I told him that I would just come back and talk to Tony. He told me that Tony can’t make any decisions, he’s not a manager; he’s just a crew manager. Which he contradicted himself! He walked off shaking his head and slid my receipt at me.
