I do not recommend vipul's kitchen. the prices are too high and the service sucks.
I have shopped here since they opened. very rarely you get good customer service. we placed an large order for an event. we ordered many laddoos (100 laddoos for 97 dollars. ) these guys somehow managed to make them so they fell apart by the time they arrived at the location. literally, it turned into bundi. so we asked for a refund for the ones who fell apart (mostly half but i wanted 25). when the associate went to the store, they all gathered there and started verbally abusing the female associate. they verbally harassed her and became belligerent and completely unhinged. This is not the way you discuss business or talk to people who bring you money. first, we paid for the cost of the food. we will not accept substandard service. either you complete the order to satisfaction, or you return the money. no questions asked. I have shopped at desi brothers since they opened up. we will ensure we dont go there and go where we get proper business. and great...
Read moreI can never think of any other restaurant which prepares North Indian food with this much quality and taste, honestly, I like each and every food item they prepare, from sweets to snacks and lunch menu everything has lot much variety than I can imagine. Restaurants in Austin are just serving the same boring menu with same South Indian touch of preparing North Indian Food and they fail most of the times in providing that North India authentic Taste, other hand this kitchen has never failed in giving us a new taste every time we visit, there are over 8 different types of lunch/dinner curries which they make everyday, (I am their daily customer ) everyday I see something new in their curries menu, and that makes me think which one to choose as everything is too tasty and authentic. in my life I have never written a review like this, I am putting these many efforts just because I found the taste and homely touch. which I was looking for from long time. IF YOU ARE A North Indian DO VISIT THEM.... you will never miss your...
Read moreThis "was" my all time favorite place. I would get tea, snacks and samosa almost everyday and sweets and lunch box atleast twice a week. Their aloo paratha, dabeli and dahi puri was very authentic too. Unfortunately, with all the new staff, seems like their quality has degraded drastically. Their samosa is very spicy now - the red chilli they add is so visible. It literally hits the tongue. Size has also reduced to half and price has increased. Staff is friendly. But highly disappointed with their new taste of samosa and other menu items. Their new addition of corn chili cheese toast sandwich is the only good item. Tea is okay, not the same as before. Lunch box items don't seem fresh most of the times and unlike before need to be consumed on the same day. Most menu items are usually not available. Located inside the Desi Brothers, Indian grocery store. There are a couple standing tables to eat. They make fresh chapatis to sell in packets of 10....
