When my friend ans I arrived, we were the first ones in line to wait to be seated. We stood there for nearly 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. If costumers are foing to wait, at least acknowledge them and let them know someone will be with them shortly, or update them on whats going on. There were about 8-10 people that were in line after usas well. Once we were seated, we received great service from our waitress that opened up to us and told us she was having a bad day in her personal life, but we couldnt even tell, because she still had a smile on her face. We sat there and waited on our food and didnt even notice that majority of people that came im after we did had already been served. Our waitress apologized to us and was very apologetic. Qhwn our food did come out, my food was good, I had the Rise and Shine. However, my friend had asked for crispy bacon, pancakes, and a side of home fries. Her bacon was very flimsy, her pancakes were cold, and the side of home fries that she paid over 2.00 for was a very skimpy serving. When the waitress came back and asked how everything looked, my friend told her the issues and she started apologizing as the manager was walking by, she stopped her and told her the issues. The manager not once apologized, she grabbed the food and said ill take the food back. She brought the food back out and again did not ask or say a word! She just put it on the table, our waitress seen that the food arrived and she came over and asked if everything looked better and again apologized. Looks to me as the manager could learn some respect from her co-workers. Managers are supposed to be able to deal with the good and the bad. The waitress however deserves a big kudos for her service and...
Read moreLet me start by saying I Love Bob Evans. Love it. But this one almost had me walking out. Was not greeted while standing in line to be seated. Took 5 min waiting at the front of the line to be acknowledged and finally seated. Took the waitress 10 minutes to show up to take our drink order (and food order since we had been waiting so long we already knew what we wanted. ) 45 minutes for her to bring out our food, not once stopping by the table to apologize for the wait or even refill our coffee. Then another 25 min until we had to stop her to ask for water (never asked how our meal was or if everything was ok). She sent another person with the water. Still had not been given the bill (it’s been over an hour we’ve been seated by this point.). Food was eaten, a box was needed and STILL we waited. No cleaning off the table or offering a box. Finally, after we’ve been there an hour and 15 min we were given the bill and left. Worst service EVER from a Bob Evans. Will never return to this location. The lady at the register was the only one to apologize. Management needs changed as does part of the wait staff. Only thing that gave them 2 stars was the food. It was good. Cold by the time we got...
Read moreI'm fully aware of the labor shortage, I get it 100%. So any review (especially restaurant related) should be taken with a grain of salt. That being said...
Our wait time wasn't too bad, maybe 20 minutes for 6 people. Our waitress was very good, super attentive and friendly. My biggest complaint, actually my only complaint, was the food quality. Regardless of labor shortage, that shouldn't change the quality of the food. The food that I would normally receive was non existent. It was like they were serving bootleg bobs breakfast. Everything was just different. Red potatoes weren't red, sausage gravy was different, it was all just different. Very odd. And on top of that, a lot of it was really cold. Not like sit around under a lamp cold, like not cooked thoroughly cold. Like I said, take it for what it's worth, with the shortages all over, they could be totally different a week from now, who knows, this is just my...
