Pete's Avalon Plaza Cafe is a stand that serves a variety of fare: Mexican favorites like tacos (asada, chicken, shrimp), nachos and burritos, to fish and chips and pizza among other items. They serve sodas as well and alcohol (beer, margaritas, etc). The stand is open from morning (they offer breakfast) to late at night (11pm). The cook had the worst attitude I kept trying to ask him I wanted a certain type of omelet I used to get a long time ago he seemed very annoyed with me asking him the questions so I got something I didn't want the Omelette was horrible it was all burnt and he was all annoyed with me when I showed him I wouldn't eat a brown omelette he made me another one a little Less Brown but the ham was cold and the cheese was not melted it was the worst omelette I've ever had for $20 and he gave me some horrible toast with no butter on it it was the worst save your money...

I don’t normally write reviews, but this place deserves a warning. I paid $27 for Carne Asada Fries, and it was a complete waste of money. The fries were way too salty, and honestly, the whole dish was gross. I don’t even know how it’s possible to mess up Carne Asada fries, but they did.

For reference, you can get the same dish in San Diego or Orange County for around $14, and it actually tastes good, nothing like what I got here. I’ll be sticking to those spots from now on. Save your money and go somewhere else. This place isn’t...
