I had reservations about stopping here, but I needed something for lunch as I had skipped breakfast.
The crater is still there at the only entrance to the parking lot. Go slow to try to avoid it!
Parking lot is super odd, but it wasn’t unclear as to the lines, or what was or wasn’t handicapped parking.
The tiled floor was fine, if not a little sticky. Can’t fault the staff for someone who might have dripped soda and maybe the staff missed seeing it.
The carpet is why I took a star off. It is really filthy! I couldn’t post a picture of it because my camera made the carpet look good. Under the seats in a perimeter of the windows, the carpet is fine and you can see the design in the carpet. In the main walking areas, it’s very dark, almost black, from traffic. Either deep clean that carpet or replace it. Please!
The staff were really nice. The young woman at the register is, maybe, named Amani. The only thing she did wrong was to give our food on a tray, instead of a takeout bag. However I only wanted the food bagged because I was worried the reviews were right and I’d be faced with rude staff. The reviews were wrong and I had a relaxing sit down in the store and had my lunch.
I think there was one review saying one of the guys in the kitchen or food prep didn’t have a uniform on. I did see a young guy wearing black pants and a blank hoodie. I think it was light grey. At first I thought, I’d that the guy the one reviewer talked about? But then I was thinking, who cares what he’s wearing. Maybe there’s a Wendy’s shirt under the hoodie. At least the kid was doing his job. (In a different scenario, I saw a guy, not this kid, at a giant eagle deli who had sagging pants to expose his undies. THAT was far more offensive than a kid wearing a hoodie.)
As for the food, it was good! Appropriately hot, with melted cheese. Only thing wrong is I got two burgers, one for my mom and one for me, and hers had mayo on it when she asked for no mayo. Not the worst thing in the world! I got extra mayo because I scraped hers off of her burger and onto mine, lol. Seriously, Wendy’s, sell that mayo in stores, please!!
The bacon was more of crumbles and not slices, but it was a good amount. Maybe they ran out of bacon slices. It was still good! The bun was fresh tasting and soft. Perfect.
All in all, I had a good meal in a decent store. Thank you for not being a terrible place to visit. Just work I’m getting that crater outside the entrance fixed before someone has an accident or ruins a tire or rim or other mechanical car part, and steam clean that carpet!...
Read moreI would like to communicate my experience to someone other than the General Manager-Sandy. Once I got to work & noticed for a 2nd time (as last week) my order was wrong. I WAS NOT RUDE, I DID NOT USE PROFANITY, I WAS PARIENT & still was treated like I did something wrong. I called to make them aware that it was the 2nd time in 2 weeks & the general manager was instantly defensive and told me to make sure I say the order correctly, when I know exactly what I ordered. If the headset didn't communicate properly I have no fault to that. However, I called back to get a corporate phone number and literally hear the General Manager-Sandy dicussing me/the situation as she answers phone w/employees (very unprofessional)! When I asked for a corporate number she stayed "Call the number on the back of receipt but your complaint is just going to come to me anyway, I'm the General Manager". Not to mention sometimes they're not open on time in the morning. I can't leave work once I'm here to take sandwiches back so I'm left w/no breakfast for the day. This Wendy's need to do better and my money is earned so it's a waste to just throw it away no matter the amount. I go back today as the G-manager Sandy told me to do with sandwich & receipt & the rude employee refuse to give me a new sandwich or refund per it's GM's instruction left on a note, because I asked for corporates phone number yesterday. It blows my mind that the employee is speech impaired but allowed to be rude, slam window in my face every chance it got (I don't want to say male or female bcus I'm not sure of gender). Read moreThis place is trash. I couldn't do a review for today 7/10/23 at 4:01 pm because Maps had me at Subway instead (which is right next door). I was waited on by Sterling and a young lady at the drive thru.....So I bought a biggie bag and ordered everything including a drink as you can see from the receipt. I got home and realized "no drink" it's too hot to eat without an ice cold drink so I went back and politely asked for a bigger size drink because now I'm really parched because I went to both doors which were locked. According to the young lady because of "short staff" (I guess they can't teach the locks) So I got back in my car and drove through the drive thru AGAIN and the young lady told me her "shift supervisor" yelled at her for trying to get me a bigger drink. I haven't been here in 4 months because service is extremely poor and food is lukewarm at best Needless to say this Wendy's should be a non factor and closed. They can put something else there than another McDonald's, Long Johns. Id Love to see a Taco Bell replace this travesty of a restaurant.
Then she slammed the window while I was driving away. That doesn't affect me but it could affect the property of Wendy's when the window won't close right or if it gets a crack (yes that's how hard she slammed it,).
