This place is not what it use to be! I have been coming here for breakfast and lunch since 2003. I get all my appetizing here as well.

Lately (the last year or 2), this place is not what is use to be. Yes, new owners, A lot of hard working, great employees (Matthew) are gone.

The bagels use to be the best around -- not so much anymore. The new manager (who use to be the manager at the other location (hallendale), never smiles, never apologizes, just fixes the issue, but still NEVER SMILES (Lana).

Nobody, who works there can cut fish (Debbie, cuts fish like is a thick leather fruit roll up), Duc can do a good job, but its a problem.

Madison, the server - ask for help if you need it. There is a big diff. in LOX and NOVA or a toasted or NON-toasted bagel. You already write down the order, but do you read it? I specifically asked for Belly Lox the salty one (gave you all the right words you need to pass on) and you still got it wrong, and then told me some cock-a-many story about getting no delivery of lox, onions or garlic --??

I am not coming here anymore. The service has gone way down since the last few years. Since JENNY left -- bagel cove has gone from being the best to one of the worst.

Its a shame! A new favorite place of mine is Bagel Snack, but it's a drive from Miami :(. They are located in Pompano Beach) .

I was really excited to give this place a chance. I was born & raised here so I thought why not try this local spot. I placed an uber eats order for a Lox Sandwich, a half dozen bagels, 1/4 lb of chicken salad, and 1/2 lb of tuna salad. The bagel had 4 inches of cream cheese, one piece on lox per half of bagel, and no veggies (tomato, lettuce, capers, etc.) I paid $21.95!!!! Take note in the area a HIGH QUALITY Lox Sandwich average cost is $14.95 (yes, even on uber). When I called the restaurant the manager took accountability and said I’d receive a refund. After reaching out to Uber they rejected the refund. Everything else I ordered was extremely mediocre (chicken & tuna salads were dry and overpriced) not to mention they confused the sizes (got 1/4 of tuna instead of chicken and 1/2 of chicken instead of tuna) and to be quite honest the lox wasn’t great. It was overly-slimy, WAY too salty, and tasted a bit spoiled. So so so disappointing. Don’t waste your time or money here. Go to Sage Bagels on Hallandale Beach Boulevard instead. As someone who works in the hospitality industry I wouldn’t touch this place with an 100 ft pole. They basically snatched $60 out of my pocket for borderline inedible food.

Thought it would be great to sit outside, nice day with a nice breeze. What seemed like homemade corned beef hash and not the typical canned dogfood was just OK, burnt and salty. The corned beef hash and the eggs were luke warm, potatoes were hot. It came with "oatmeal or grits or potatoes", was never asked which I wanted, but as the inattentive waiter walked away I yelled "potatoes with that". I was served a toasted cold sesame bagel after not being asked what kind I wanted, hate sesame bagels, but the replacement plain bagel was at least hot. The nice day got interrupted by the loud diesel food delivery truck that parked next to us leaving his engine running for the 15 minutes he unloaded, then the young impatient woman in the BMW had to blast her horn in my ears as she felt the truck should have cut off the traffic flow to let her out of the parking lot faster instead of him properly not slamming into moving cars. The loud sirens of the firetruck going by at least I understood and accepted. Staff dropped food and ran, didn't ask if we needed anything else, like a plain bagel, oh wait, I already said inattentive.
