Upon entering Anita Gelato, you walk into an inviting ice cream shop. The colors and decor of pastel colors and cases of colorful gelatos, make it a very unique experience. There is an extensive flavor selection. From classic favorites like dark chocolate, pistachio, white chocolate pomegranate, and salted caramel. Expect the unexpected for flavors. The gelato is displayed in a traditional Italian style. With so many choices, they were very helpful in letting you try different flavors before you make your choice.

The gelato is fresh, with a smooth, creamy texture, but it is rich and a bit thicker than traditional gelato. If you are used to the traditional Italian gelato from trips to Italy, this is not exactly it. They do not have the traditional flavors. But, I would say the creative flavors and the extensive amount of choices allow for everyone to find something they will like.

The staff was friendly and patient, allowing customers to sample flavors before making their final decision. The girl helping me even thought of flavors I may like and started to bring me different spoons to try. I was very appreciative of her time to make recommendations for me and be so patient.

This is a great gelato spot that is not only a great dessert but a fun experience.

We came here last night after celebrating my best friends bday dinner, we were excited since the review were always great, came in around 8:30 and there was no line, wanted after looking at tge display a bit, the guy who serve me, was either very tired from the day, or just didn't want to be there he was in a rush to get me to the register, even after we told him the 3 of us were paying together, another server helped my 2 girl friends and when. He didn't offer any toppings or drizzle and the cup was half packed, what a shame, the Gelato was delicious and the place was beautiful, but the service could be a little better. Amendment from my previous review, I have spoken with Stef, the store manager and has visited this location 2x after my first initial visit. And they have changed my mind on their service. The ladies that attended to us, were very sweet and accommodating, we came at the peak busy hour of 8pm and the line was long, but the ladies kept churning the ice cream and moving the line along. This place is beyond marvelous. When you walk in, you're welcomed in with the most pleasant scent, unique to Anita's. The decor, seating and display of they're ice cream and unique toppings transports you to a whole nother world. The service is friendly and inviting. The ice cream itself is NEXT LEVEL and UNMATCHED! I have tried many other gelatos and I absolutely love gelato so trust me when I tell you there is nothing like this out there and it's definitly the best in Miami. The flavors are so unique. You can tell they are using real ingredients and not just putting "natural flavors" to enhance the taste of their gelato, as any other ice cream spot would. The tastes are subtle yet indulgent, creamy and unique. I've never had anything like this in my life. If you're thinking about checking them out, DO IT! It's a whole new experience. They've become me and my families weekend movie night treat. Best of the best!
