Fenik's Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Avon Lake

Our visit was on Tuesday March 23rd, 2021 at approximately 5:20pm.

Quality of the product was tasty and great, and the gentleman that served us was nice. But unfortunately he completely got our order wrong. My girlfriend ordered a single scoop of chocolate custard with whip cream and Oreo pieces. But he gave her vanilla instead. Then I wanted to have the Hot Fudge Peanut Butter Parfait with the new Brownie Batter flavor instead of the vanilla. Instead he gave me regular chocolate and wasn't going to put the Hot Fudge on it until I asked him if it came with it. His response was "Sure, I can put some on for you." So naturally I was like "Oh, I thought it came with it because it is listed in the description." And when he added it on top of the whip cream it started dripping and leaking all down the sides of the cup and everywhere else. He DID provide me with a paper towel in an attempt to help so that was nice of him. So I'm not sure if he charged me extra for that part of the order or not.

So my order was $11.60-something. I paid him $12 in cash so I should've gotten some loose change back. But he told me to have a good day, seeming as though he wasn't going to give me my change. So I proceeded to tell him to just put the change in his tip jar so that way he would realize there was supposed to have been change given. It wasn't busy when we were there either so I'm not sure what the issue was. We walked in and he was able to take our order immediately since there was nobody in line or waiting to be helped.

So I paid, we ate, and just left because my girlfriend didn't want to make a fuss about the order being wrong. Hopefully if we decide to visit again, our order can be made...

10000/10. Is that possible? It is now. I knew they had a large vegan selection in addition to their MASSIVE menu of regular ice cream and custards but sheesh... Nothing could have prepared me.

There was a young lady working who, just by watching, was an inspiration. Kind, informative, on-the-spot training to a coworker that was professional and helpful, and her guest service skills were incredible. She had a few piercings and I wish I would have gotten her name, but she was the best.

Indoor and outdoor spaces to dine and plenty of parking.

All their sundaes can be made vegan and I ordered the Hot Fudge Peanut Butter Parfait. I have never encountered being so distraught because EVERYTHING sounded that good.

Go. Now. If i didnt live an hour away I'd eat...

I never got any pictures cause I left my phone in the car, and I’m trying my best not to constantly have my phone in my hand. This place is brilliant. They are vegan options hundreds I think staff of the best but the product is amazing. I really really really like this ice cream custard sorry store. I like their menu as well. It’s just get so many cool things no pun intended. I kind of customize what was on the menu to fit more of what I was in the mood for that day. This place really had this spot. Not too far from home either. I think the value of my home just went up after finding this place so close lol it’s very hard for me not to like a custard ice cream place but seriously this is one of my favorites again I can’t believe I don’t have any photos definitely going back so I’ll have to put them in next time don’t mess.
