Subway — Restaurant in Avon Lake

As a local resident, I am very grateful to have this subway in the Lear road shopping plaza. Unfortunately, when I normally come in is Monday through Friday during the school day (breakfast-lunch hours), and I have never had more than a neutral experience—Never a positive Experience. At this location, the full-time worker who works at that time really lacks in customer service. Her name is Mary, and she never smiles and never goes out of her way to help the customer. She does not seem to enjoy her job by the way she comports herself. She seems to be working for a paycheck rather than to make subway look good. I have been refused service on orders of multiple subs when she is too busy. I avoid this subway if I can during these hours and go to the subway, Jersey Mike’s, or Jimmy John’s in Westlake. Mary likes to nickel and dime everyone and find excuses to not be helpful. I don’t rely on this subway location for anything important...

If there was a choice to give you 0 stars I would. I’m a delivery driver which means I drive for a living. I forgot my lunch today. I figured I would get Subway because it’s quick. I tried for 20 minutes to order a sandwich through the mobile app and it was not working properly and would not assign a location for me to pick the sandwich up. I called your store and was refused service. I was told you’re not allowed to take orders over the phone. Well here’s the thing….. your app wasn’t working so I COULDN’T PLACE AN ONLINE ORDER! I explained this and it didn’t matter! Really???? I even asked can ya help me out here??? NOPE! Very very poor customer service! Will not recommend or visit this...

This subway used to be great, but the past few years it has gone so down hill it’s sad. Do yourself a favor and go to another sandwich shop. Meatballs were uncooked and cold, service was slow and not friendly. I have literally nothing positive to say about this store.
