Placed a to go order for a strawberry Nutella crepe and a banana Nutella crepe, and upon receiving the order neither had any Nutella filing or fruit filling. The menu AND website advertise the crepes as being filled with both Nutella and fruit, also they are shown to have whipped cream and powdered sugar on top - neither of which was on my order. I called the store after seeing what the orders looked like, and the employee who took my order answered. She told me that her boss had decided to no longer fill the crepes with any Nutella or fruit without extra charge due to the economy, and that she “only works here” and the decision was her bosses. I stated I understood she is not responsible for the change, but that the information should have been communicated to us when we ordered, as any customer should be aware they are not being sold what is shown on the menu. She stated her boss hasn’t wanted to put up any signs to express this to people and that she “didn’t know why he won’t put up signs”. I requested a refund since I did not find this fair, and the worker stated her bosses wife was in the restaurant and that she could ask her. I then requested to speak with the bosses wife to request this refund. The worker came back to the phone and stated her bosses wife “can’t take the call right now” but that they are unable to give me a refund and the only thing they “could do” was speak to the worker who did not inform me about there no longer being any filling offered (which was the worker I was speaking to). Overall this place is scamming customers as they are quite literally false advertising ON PURPOSE, and then refusing to refund. Don’t waste your time or...
Read moreTerrible food. Terrible service. Terrible drinks.. Not genuine crepes. It's flat pancakes. Mostly flour. Not true French crepes but more like IHOP crepes. We ordered 4 crepes. 2 savory, 2 sweet. A unsweetened tea and 2 Caramel frappes. There was no Carmel in either Caramel Frappes! And no one was at the service counter the entire hour we were there. Tables sat with dirty plates from earlier customers the entire time. First the QR code ordering system is terrible. It takes longer and too many steps with you having to hand input your card # and gather everyone's order at your table. It took 50 minutes to get our food with only one to-go order before us. I was given VERY sweet tea but their online menu says that only serve UNsweetened tea. They said they only serve sweet tea when we finally were able to say anything to a worker. They did not return my money when I opted for water but instead gave me 2 mini water bottles they charge just $0.49 for. Then the crepes:, they only brought out 2 crepes and 2 others at the table had to watch us eat as they waited another 15 minutes for theirs. 2 of the crepes were pretty much raw. One Not fully cooked on the inside folds and the other savory crepe just wasn't cooked well at all inside and out. It was very doughy. The cook forgot to add an ingredient during cooking so after we began eating brought the ingredient to our table for us to add. But it's meant to be warmed inside the crepe as it cooks, not served cold . Overall extremely disappointed. Oh and a sign in the bathroom asks the customers to scrub out their toilet for them. Not worth it for the...
Read moreYummy crepes! Be prepared to buy bottled water. No free water here. Call me old fashioned but I always liked choosing from a traditional menu board or book. Scanning the QR to obtain the menu to me just makes the service seem to have less warmth to a customer & for me less appealing. You come to a restaurant to be served, sometimes the interaction with the servers is a plus whether it's a cafeteria style or sit down service. They do have a menu board, too.
UPDATE: 6/3/2021 Came back today with my daughter so she could try, too. I had the savory eggs, cheese & turkey this time - delicious & just enough for a light yet filling enough brunch treat. Even my daughter got jealous n had some of my eggs & turkey sausage. She loved that the eggs were fluffy. I also had the crepella waffles with ice cream(this is great for sharing). Next time I'll request the waffles to be more crunchy instead of soft. Everything came together perfectly anyway having both savory & sweet. They now provide free water. Their servings are reasonable for their pricing. I now understand why they do QR scanned menu due to lack of staff though they are hiring. It is hard to find help these days in the restaurant biz. But just be patient because it is worth the wait(its not that long).
This is such a quaint, peaceful place to eat breakfast or brunch. We hardly have time & breakfast is always on the go. Enjoy coffee or hot chocolate for non coffee drinkers like me if you have more time. They have outside dining as well perfect for cooler days. We will be back to try other crepes & enjoy the...
