Awkwardly sad.. infamously depressing.. tragically called a restaurant.. How can this be..? How can you insult a traditional sea food wonder? How can a treasure of treasures be desecrated like this.. If it was possible to sure a place for almost destroying someone's favorite food.... I would be in front of a judge right now as I write this pain staking experience.. Myself and two friends stopped to get some Mariscos, a comfort food that needs no colorful description. Because it's "Mariscos " it's flavors, it's traditions .. it's that place of happiness and memories of wow you got to try this!!! That never happened. In fact, we all looked at each other almost at the exact same time with a look of disgust and facial expression of ,wait, what about their dish... and we asked each other how their food was, and we were all in disbelief on how horrible it was.. i had a Campechana (mixed sea food cocktail), and so did one of my friends, and it tasted like stake water that had been sitting in a bowl for a few days..🤮 My other friend had the aqua chiles ( shrimp cooked in lime juice mixed with green chili sauce) and they shrimp where grey and he couldn't even force himself to eat a single while shrimp out of the few he tried to eat... Then you have the server who seemed nice but disappeared and treated us like we didn't exist. .. which should be hard to do, and there is only one other table singing at the moment, and it's being taken care of by another server... Oh I can't forget to mention the sad concoction the gave, calling it salsa...
This place is A disgrace to Mexican seafood, ( "Mariscos ")
Hopefully this review will save someone's taste buds from death by disgrace..... one can only pray and hope... How do you give negative stars...?????

All of the food was bland, no flavor. The rice, the ceviche. You can get better mariscos elsewhere. I gave 2 stars because the service was ok, eventhough the server took a while to come around after she left us our food. I highly recommend you go elsewhere and don't spend money at this overpriced location. The tostada of cevice was $8 or $9 for 1 tostada and it was packed with vegetables and almost no shirmp. The shrimp that was there was flavorless, I'm sure it was boiled cooked shrimp they used instead of making actual ceviche. So maybe they shouldn't call it ceviche. More like cooked shrimp with veggies tostada. Gross. I wont be returning to this location.
Oh! Almost forgot to mention, I found a hair in my rice as well but my mom didn't want me to mention anything to them so I didn't. I just didn't eat the...
Read moreMariscos Camaron Pelao is a treasure in disguise. My family and I were on a road trip to support our New Airmen, Sadiq M. My family can eat at most fast-food chains, but I chose not to. They found their food, but I was the holdout. I lifted my eyes and caught a glimpse of Mariscos in a random strip-like mall. I said I wanted to eat there. I walked into the restaurant to my delight, and music from a live performer greeted me. There were several families seated in booths. I picked up the menu and found the perfect meal a Fish burrito. It was scrumptiously delicious, pure, authentic Mexican food. I savored every bite. The rice is so good I could just get an order of it and be satisfied. I highly recommend Marisco Camaron Pelao. It will be an experience you will not easily forget. When You visit, tell them Omar sent you. Keep Going!...
