Original Post: Terrible service. They had 1 or 2 pizzas at the buffet the whole time so we spent the whole time just waiting for food. Then 1/2 their games were out of order and wernt marked so it kept eating the tokens
Edit: I came to the Avondale location about a month ago and received terrible service! They could not keep pizza on the buffet and I came with a party of 7 kids and 3 adults. I have 3 special needs kids and 1 special needs adult! So it was very hard to explain to them for over 2 hours that they had to wait to eat! I also purchased $40 for 200 tokens. We were not even able to use the tokens because over half the games were out of service. I made several complaints to the manager who expressed to me that they were short staff not only in the kitchen but in the game area as well and there was no one available to work on games at the moment. I asked for a refund since I spent $75+ tax and was completely dissatisfied as well as still hungry! The manager refused to give me a refund but stated she would give me a credit so my family could come on a different day and enjoy pizza and games when they had a full staff. I do not know the managers name but she was a middle aged white woman with longer brown hair. She asked me for my name, phone number and wrote it on a receipt paper. I assumed everything would be ok for next time. I decided to come today, spoke to the assistant manager on duty (Megan ) who is a different manager then was here a month ago. She refused to honor my credit and said there was no record of it. She immediately had an attitude and treated me like I was lying and making everything up. She rolled her eyes multiple times and just kept saying 'no record, no credit' I tried to explain what happened last time and I asked her if she could call the other manager to verify. She refused to call the manager who was supposed to give the credit and called the GM instead. They offered me only $10 in tokens and 1/2 off my food when I was supposed to have my original order as a credit (value of $75 +tax). I told her this was unacceptable and that I wanted to speak with the GM. I asked if she could get them on the phone or have him call me. They both refused. Said I could come back several hours later when the GM will be in later in the afternoon. This does not work for me because I was standing there with all my kids who were ready to eat! I was forced to again purchase our food and tokens. I am so disappointed and disgusted with the staff here and how they treat customers, especially those with special needs. There is no compassion or common courtesy and customer service is clearly not an important value they hold here. For being a foster parent to a large group of special needs children I would not recommend this place to anyone! I still feel we are owed the credit we were promised in...
Read moreI came in for my nephew's birthday. Honestly I wasn't expecting much; I've had plenty of parties at Charles Entertainment Cheese's establishment in my youth and I've never been impressed. However, I was left astonished by the quality of my meal.
On account of my mild autism, I find it difficult to enjoy meat that isn't well done and crispy so I tend to generally avoid eating wings and the sort. The night I was there was different—I was craving. I took the risk and asked for well done wings at the register. It was love at first bite. Or, crunch, rather. They were fried to perfection and I must have wolfed the entire basket in a minute flat. My heart goes out to the lovely and accommodating cashier, her name was Emma (or perhaps Ema? forgive me if I'm misspelling her name), and the kitchen staff for honoring my request.
The pizza was alright too, I suppose. I'm not the best person to ask as I'm rather persnickety about pepperonis, which is what we had. I can't fault anyone for that, pepperoni is among the most popular pizza to order. Normally, I would dock a star for this but the quality of the wings have surpassed my personal gripe with the platonic pepperoni pizza.
Now, this is where I truly must deduct points. I realize that normally this isn't so much my sort of scene. I have no children of my own as at home it's just me, my platonic life partner, and our indoor plants. I live a quiet life but I still love regulated contact with my nieces and nephews which are usually on holidays or birthdays. That being said, the lights from the arcade machines, the children playing, the televisions, and the smells all had me feeling a touch more overstimulated than I would have liked to have put up with. Thankfully, I'm good at "masking" as my partner tells me, so it certainly wasn't bad enough for me to have a conniption. I'm aware that this is simply my autism speaking but I owe it to myself and the integrity of my review to accurately account for my experience at Peter Piper Pizza.
In short, if I'm to attend future birthday parties for my young relatives, I hope I have the honor of attending at this particular location again where you can bet that I will be hungry for more wings. Thank you all for...

If I could give a 0 I would. First apparently no one knows how to count here. I order 50 wings first time they came out with pizza they were cold. I asked the manager if made before pizzas going in he said no but I'll remake all for you and tossed away okay cool I'll wait I said. They call me about 15 minutes later and great wings fresh and steam. I looked and it did seem skimpy for 50 so I counted and there was 30. Went to the manager he said ill ask cook as if I was lying she said a bag and he was like that's only 32. I said well I got 30 an you make my 20 like I order he said ill walk out to you. Then comes with only 15 I know it's 5 wings but at 90 cents a wing I want what I paid for. I told a lady now she said I can make I said forget it I might just get 3 but it's the point I paid for it of course I want it but annoyed I was trying not to argue I said forget it. She said okay and left. Then we finish eating and literally 1 out of 3 games worked there. The basketball game had 2 balls each you literally ran out of time waiting on balls to come back. I was disappointed as this was one of the best places to take my family in the past when we lived in Avondale. Back when Ray ran things but man oh man ill never be back again. The last issue I needed help in ticket area my child ask but I didn't know so when I went to ask the lady said I KNOW WE WILL GET SOMEONE THERE ASAP BUT WERE BUSY. I was like okay I get a girl and she had an anxiety attack and was like help me I need help all we did was give her the tickets to add up. The same manager came from earlier said if we wanted to wait for new toys to be added come later I said no we will get what kids want. Kids picked and I asked my wife are we done the manager said I'm getting voucher didn't give us the option. Then we had to wait like 5-10 minutes for that voucher like yo we trying to leave. I looked in the door and he's talking in his cell phone. Just disappointed spent 205.00 for numerous issues never coming to this location again. Thanks team way to keep your...
