So... Here's the thing with this McDonald's.. It's a bit difficult to explain, so I'll do my best. On it's good day- fresh hot fries, perfect vanilla cone, ice cold soda and coffee, fast and friendly service with a smile following your food. 5 stars on those days, no question. BUT.. Days like today, 1 star- here's why: today was supposed to be an easy day, iced hazelnut coffee and a vanilla cone. (easy, right?) After finishing paying, I pull up. The guy/girl - hard to tell- handed me my melted ice cream cone with it dripping over my hand. The "employee" stares at me and I had to ask the "employee" can I get a couple napkins please? Hands me two napkins. Cool, as I'm wiping off the cone (I didn't even ask for another one, I let it slide- big mistake) then the employee hands me the drink. I wait. He/she Stares at me like I'm acting weird... I have to ask them for a straw. Hands it to me with a face of a grade A jerk- didn't smile or say a word the entire time. Fine- I call the place up and inform them of what just happened and asked them to check to see if the person was okay or if they are having a bad day. No refund no replacement- it was cool. As I get off the phone I notice an odd texture in my vanilla ice-cream. Hair. Hair. COMING FROM INSIDE THE CONE AND IN MY MOUTH. I spit it out and think, maybe it was mine- even though I don't have red hair. And what do I find. Another damn hair- I took a picture that time and threw it out the damned window, after I took off the paper wrap- don't wanna litter, birds can eat the cone and cream, not the paper. Now, I've been coming to this McDonald's since I first went to school at Westview in 2006. Still go today (May be the last day actually, cause it's like going to Katy Perry's "hot and cold" song) 11 years of service, spending about $20+ a week every month, every year. It's safe to say I've spent well over $10,000- $12,000 there at that single McDonald's. Its not just what happened today, but over the years, more recently within the past 5, there have been ample amounts of problems. Cold fries, handling them without gloves- SCOOPING THE CHERRY OUT WITH THEIR FINGERS, old sandwich that was stone cold cause they didnt want to start a new batch, I could go on. BUT, there have been many times that were fantastic as well! Amazing fresh food with a nice smile and a polite is there anything else I can help you with, occasional free sandwich cause I brought something up without drawing attention, and that is where I had my first date. Its where I had my first kiss. And it honestly breaks my heart to see such things happen like that. It has good and bad memories and they constantly are neck and neck, equal without one or another overstepping another. And 3 stars is what I'm rating it, after all these years. I miss the old establishment it used to be, but I know it can come back with some more discipline, effort and rewards for the staff. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you'll at least give this...
Read moreEach time I come here the customer service experience is worse than the last visit. Sadly its the nearest mcds to me. Came last night 9/30/21 at about 1 am. African american female at the driver thru window literally has no experience with customer service, just plain rude. I pulled up to the window with a smile like always and I said hello, but this employee just yells out "2.18". Not even a "hello, your order is two dollars and 18 cents". So I'm thinking she didn't hear me. So I pay, and she still don't say anything. Gives me my food and still don't even say nothing. I said "you have a good night" and yet nothing. Simply rude and disrespectful! Mcds was my first job so It's not hard at all to greet customers and have manners. I'm in my 30s with over 12 years of excellent customer service. To top it off this female employee at the Drive thru had either her phone or some small speaker that she was playing music for herself. Clearly unprofessional!! How ghetto has this McDonald's gotten. And where is the manager at and not keeping an eye on these young rude employees. If they don't put effort into caring about there customers, it's makes me wonder how much effort do they put into cleaning and sanitizing dishes properly. How long the food is sitting there. Retrain these employees and this location...
Read moreI went through the drive thru and got the Big Mac bundle for my brother and I and the $5 meal for my sister in law. When I left the drive through I thought I should check my bag. They gave me my Big Mac bundle but they literally forgot the whole $5 meal. Like how do you forget a whole meal? I turned around and parked in front of the store and called them and they tried telling me I can either go in side or go through the drive thru again and they’ll give me my $5 meal. If I wanted to go in side I would’ve done it the first go around. And why would they try to make me go through the drive through and wait in line AGAIN when I already waited in line to get my food the first time. This isn’t the first time they missed up either. Every time I go through the drive through they always forget something whether that’s a drink, nuggets, fries, etc. but they always forget something every time I come here whether that’s through the drive thru or if I do go inside they still manager to forget something that I had ordered. This time it was a whole meal. I used to work at McDonald’s years ago when I was in high school and it’s literally the easiest job you can get and work at. It’s almost impossible to make mistakes or forget items people order and yet, these guys always manage to forget...
