Tortas Manantial — Restaurant in Avondale

Walked up to the cashier and asked if they had guava juice and she straight up ignored me. Another lady came by the register when I asked the First Lady the same question but I guess she didn’t speak English but still ignored me. It isn’t hard to say no habla englas and I don’t speak Spanish either. Anyways, I order a guava juice with their carne asada torta and sit down to wait. The same cashier starts calling my number out only to have the drink ready but still preparing the sandwich and I’m 8 months pregnant so I suppose they wanted me to stand and wait for another ten minutes to finish making the sandwich. This is my second time coming back but the first time wasn’t the best in terms of customer service either. I thought it was just a one off experience but after this I won’t come back and don’t recommend it to anyone. Sandwich wasn’t good either I just chucked it in the trash...

First time here today. Pretty good portion sizes. We are a family of 4. We got 2 tortas, escamocha, and a large nachos with meat (the regular nachos is deeply overpriced but the meat one is fairly priced tho)

Stopped just because we were driving by and were hungry. This place hit the spot. They have a variety of aguas frescas like agua de melon, sandia, papaya, limon, horchata, fresa and really the list goes on. They are all made fresh to order. The ladies working here are the best. They were super nice and greet you as soon as you come in and thank you on your way out. The place is very clean and they practice social distancing guidelines and require face masks when...
