CREPES GARDEN — Restaurant in Avondale

I really hate leaving reviews like this, but I feel like I have to. At least to warn others, about consuming food at this location. We went to this place Oct 27th (Sunday), it was crowded but we were able to get a table, we ordered Chicken Chipotle Crepe, Fruit of the forest crepe...the Chicken Chipotle Crepe came with a salad, the crepe was good, however, I found a bug in the salad and there was something off. Usually it wouldn't be too concerning, but I had to let the staff know. When we pointed the salad and the bug out, the waitress without saying anything just grabbed the plate and walked off. Rude, but ok. Then the owner came out and basically started with excuses, but did apologized.

Wasn't a big deal, until both my wife and I started getting stomach issues. Uncomfortable feeling, diarrhea, nausea, etc. It's been 7 days and we are still experiencing issues, though it is getting better.

I wouldn't make too big of a deal about this, but I honestly don't want anyone else going through this feeling and discomfort, or potentially even worse.

Hope the business corrects this issue and conducts in the proper manner, only...

Found a nice place to enjoy breakfast the other day and felt like sharing the experience with anyone looking for something new and delicious 😋! Crepes Garden was very welcoming and friendly and the decor was warm and comfortable. We ordered the chilaquiles w/over easy eggs and the American breakfast with pancakes and also a Cajeta crepe. The food was fresh very delicious and had that homemade taste that reminds you of being at your Nana’s house. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The owner/cook (possibly, don’t know for sure) was quick to share items with us that we didn’t even order and we were glad she did because the Bimbuñuelos and guava chai drink thingy were very good! We are going to return for sure and try many more items on their menu. So if you are looking for something new and delicious I think you should give CG a try, hopefully you’ll enjoy it as much as we did. And we wish Crepes Garden...

My 1st time eating at this restaurant and it was so delicious. When I first walked in, I felt welcome when I walked up to the counter to order my food. I was greeted with a lot of respect once I sat down the server Denisse came to me and greeted herself. She was very polite, respectful, kind, and very knowledgeable of the menu. Once my food got to the table, I ordered the chicken fajitas and some pancakes and one of special drinks and it was like OMG it was so good. I told my job about this place and they want to try it out so I went back and order everybody food in my office and from a scale from one to 10 everybody gave it to 10. The environment of the place is beautiful. It has a nice setting has a lot of potential and I will be coming back more often because I love the pancakes thanks Denisse and the staff that...
