Tortas Paquime — Restaurant in Avondale

I had dinner with my family and the food was ok. Nothing great. However, my 1star rating is for the bad customer service. After dinner I bought my kids ice cream. 3 ice cream bars and walked out. As soon as we walked out my 4 y/o son dropped his ice cream. I went back in (less than 30 seconds) and explained what happened and asked if he could switch it and the younger cashier didn’t know so she asked a grouchy old lady (who was probably not happy about being at work) next to her and she said no. I told them i literally just bought them, asked the you her girl to vouch for me since she rung me out and the old grouchy lady said no, as soon as you walk out there’s nothing we can do. This is HORRIBLE customer service . No other solution was provided and my son was left without an ice cream. I was not about to repurchase because their prices are ridiculously high too. So my advice to potential customers: come eat here but don’t expect friendly service . I will not be coming here again. I hope management reads this and they teach their employees to provide empathy and better customer service, specially when kids...

Worst customer service experience I've ever had, came here because all other locations have really good customer service and i thought i was going to get the same experience here. Walked in and the lady at the front register seemed to be in a bad mood. I approached her and she asked with a bad tone "how can I help you" I proceeded to give her my order and she turned around to talk to another employee. So I stopped and then waited till she turned around and gave her my order again. I asked for her to replace the pork meat on the torta ahogada for beef due to me being allergic to pork but she said no. She said that they could do it but she would charge me for both tortas and i would only receive one, i don't believe thats fair but she was firm so i walked away and fortunately there was this other torta place around the corner its called tortas manantial, they offered excellent customer service and they were more than happy to change the pork for beef at no extra charge. Where should I start.... this used to be one of my favorite places to eat out, however last month when I ordered a chicken salad, it came with (im NOT exaggerating) 2oz of chicken!!!! Very, extremely little to no chicken!!! And way smaller portion of the salad itself as well!!! Nothing like it used to be... when i called the establishment to question it, thinking it was a mistake... they stated that their “new cheff” made a new menu and re assigned portions to the items in it” its a $12 dollars salad..!!!! Not cheap at all, if it was 5 or 6 dlls i could care less, also Not organic or nothing to “Justify” the price, but plain amd simple GREED. Well let me tell you we all as consumers have the POWER of choosing where to spend out hard earned money, and at least i assure you that im not coming back... you guys keep doimg this and even the so called “large” drinks are way smaller, no note foam cup!!!...
