Wendy's — Restaurant in Avondale

Dear Wendy's, please do something about this place. The poor reviews are true. The customer service here is so bad it's making me want to stop eating at all Wendy's. Today, I placed a mobile order and watched as three customers paid at the counter and received their orders before me. Two employees were standing behind the counter in front of me doing absolutely nothing and I asked them if they had my mobile order. I wasn't rude, but I did speak loudly to be sure I was heard over the noise around me. One of the employees who I assumed to be a manager didn't even look at me and turned around and walked away while the other stood there continuing to do nothing and not acknowledging me so I asked again. She mumbled something that I couldn't understand and then walked away. I saw my burger come out and sit on the counter for a few minutes before the person who I assumed to be a manager went and got my chicken nuggets. She melodramatically plopped them into the container and then set the container down on the counter and stood there doing nothing for at least a couple of minutes. It wasn't like she was waiting for them to be prepared. She just pulled them out of a drawer as if they had been sitting there already prepared for god knows how long. Then all of a sudden she picked the nuggets back up, put them in the bag, and put the burger that had been sitting there for five minutes in the bag. She then plopped the bag down on the counter without looking at me and turned around and walked away. I only assume she thought I was yelling at her when I asked if they had the order just because I had to raise my voice to be heard over the noise. She has no business being in customer service and is driving your customers away. It was the last thing I needed after the kind of day that I had and I really am considering never going to any...

The worst Wendy's and the worst fast food I ever had. The Classic Chicken was cold and it seemed they precooked it because I have been to many Wendys and never got a chicken that old. When I ordered you can see the fries that were in the spot were they put them when there done and when my name was called right before that I seen the guy that was at the register put my fries in the bag Wich was cold and old also he is taking money and touching food. I am a type 1 diabetic and took my insulin because I was going to eat,I should of waited but I didn't so I had to at least eat the chicken sandwich Wich I regret,it was disgusting anyway I am a passive person that does not want to complain as a matter of fact this is the first review I have ever done. I called the store and no answer I also called the truck stop and no answer. I wanted to voice my concern because you can get somebody sick. Anyway I went back to work the about 15 minutes later I went home sick with nausea and stomach pains andstill feeling bad no diarrhea yet or throwing up. But don't feel good at all. I know the people work there don't mean to get people sick but I believe the place is not managed right and not cleaned and pre making food before people order. I have also many years in the food business and I should of asked for my money back. This Wendy's was recently just built from scratch. There used to be nothing there but a dirt lot. The inside is very modern looking and everything is still very clean. When I placed my order they actually asked me for my name. As I took my change and receipt I headed towards the fountain machine and up on the wall in front of me was a display showing other customers names with an updating order status. You could now see how your order was progressing and where it stood in comparison to other orders! I thought it was actually pretty cool. The staff was expectedly very courteous and professional. Something you usually don't see in restaurants that have been open for awhile. The food was alright. My family didn't have any issues but I, on the other hand did. For some reason the buns tasted a bit sweet. Not sweet like Hawaiian bread, but sweet enough to know that it shouldn't be sweet. It also had this weird texture after chewing it a couple times. It almost felt like it was crumbling apart in your mouth. Id also go so far as to say the buns seemed doughy, underbaked even. If I somehow found myself alone and hungry, I dont think I would go here again. On the other hand, if my family of girls wants Wendy's I'm just gonna have to...
