Firehouse Subs Crossroads At Tolleson — Restaurant in Tolleson

I had never been to Firehouse Subs before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. As I entered, I saw two workers behind a long counter and another at the end in front of the cash register. They all left me standing in front of the two behind the counter (which was closest to the front door). I assumed they were busy, so I stood politely. After what I considered too long a time, I said, "Excuse me... can you help me?" Without even looking up at me, she told me to order at the cashier. This was the only negative part of my visit. The cashier was extremely friendly and apologized profusely. I explained that it was my first visit, so immediately the cashier explained everything to me (even how and why they were formed). My sub was absolutely delicious. The service was great. I recommend Firehouse Subs, but if it's your first...

Food was good, but they totally butchered the order. 3 subs, all of them wrong...we requested that they not put something on a sub, then it was on there, and vice versa...a philly cheesesteak sub didn't have any cheese... HOW do you mess that up!? I checked the receipt and we ordered everything correctly online.

They also didn't give me my side salad I paid extra for. I had never been to Firehouse Subs before, and they put everything in a big paper bag, so I stupidly assumed they got my order right and didn't bother emptying everything out to double check. Didn't realize til I had left and gone back to work that everything was wrong.

Won't go back, and I don't recommend going to this location.

Tried firehouse subs for the first time on 2/25/23. I knew it was pretty expensive as I looked at the menu previous to dining here but did not realize that I’d leave feeling ripped off. I paid $36 for 2 subs and a mac and cheese. The hot subs weren’t even hot and skimpy with meat. The mac and cheese on the menu board showed that it was a full bowl but I got it and it was half full, barely 3 bites and also ice cold, for $5.50 that’s ridiculous. For the price I didn’t even get drinks or chips. There are plenty of other sub places for half the price and same quality. Not to mention we went in to order and took an hour before we left with our takeout. Super slow service. Why didn’t the associate say hey, you can pay $4 less to get a full meal....
