So there's someone who also works there who serves a good and properly portions the food and I've never had an issue with them in the 10+years I've gone here but Fri-Sun this old lady works there and I had an issue today with her and she tells me the Amount of barbecue pork she's allowed to give a customer is 4 pieces only cause pork is expensive And the amount of beef and broccoli she's allowed to give is only 3 beef and 3 broccoli cause beef is expensive she will cut chicken in front of you and then only give you 1/3 to just 4 pieces of what she cut and when I asked her if I could get 1 peice more of beef she said that I'd have to pay $3 for it and when i said why would I pay $3 for 1 piece more she said "can you eat a cow" calling me fat for wanting 1 more peice of beef in my beef and broccoli

For Chinese fast food, it’s right up there. Food trays around 6pm looked pretty fresh. Made our choice based on what looked the freshest and were pretty satisfied. Went with bbq pork, beef and broccoli and pepper chicken. Also had the hot and sour soup, which they make to order and was out pretty quickly. Have to say the flavors were pretty good as well. Fried rice and noodles were very good also. Two of us were able to split a three item combo and soup, with left overs. Not bad for $20. As this is fast food, you can’t really customize your order unless you order one of their specials so some of the dishes were heavy on the filler items, like onions. The fried rice could have benefited from a few more peas and carrots. Other than that, not much to complain about.

The food at Chinese Taste has an original flavor because it’s truly authentic Chinese cuisine. The rice is delicious, and both the Orange Chicken and the Kung Pao Chicken taste incredible — very true to their traditional flavors. On top of that, the owner is such a kind and friendly lady who always greets you with a smile. You can tell this is a family-run restaurant with hardworking owners who put real dedication into every detail. I invite you to experience the flavor that comes directly from China — authentic, fresh, and full of tradition. Without a doubt, one of the best spots in Azusa to enjoy real Chinese food.

Worst service EVER!…I have been there many times (I grew up around the area and it was a usual place to eat) but it has been a while since I have been there. Anyways I had ordered a combo and I did ask for a sample of the Kung Pao chicken (I seen they had just brought it out) and it wasn't to my taste(tasted undercooked) and i noticed that the woman got bothered because I didn't go with that choice of meat...food did not look very appealing/appetizing but I went on and ordered teriyaki chicken and broccoli beef..my mom wanted to try the chicken I didn't like ...again woman looked very bothered Because we asked.. then she walked away and turned her back on us and I asked her for another combo and she still did not turned or said anything..then when she was done with whatverw she was doing we finished ordering and she was bringing up the total when I asked her "may I have some teriyaki sauce"( I got teriyaki chicken!) She gave me an ugly looked and grabbed one and I asked her politely "I'm sorry may I have just one more?" She said with the ugliest attitude we charge .25 cents more for each...I don't care about the price but because of the attitude she gave me I said "ok it's fine I don't want it" I just wanted to get out of there...she charged and walked away without saying a word, not even bother to ask if we needed any other condiments (like sauce)..I look in the bag and there was 1 NAPKIN and two forks! (We payed for TWO combos!) I was going to ask her for more but since she had already been so rude I seen more napkins nest to the register and I grabbed some more AS I WALKED AWAY she yelled out " you cannot grab a lot of napkins!" And I said you gave ONE! and she still kept on yelling out that next time I don't grab a lot of napkins! FIRST OF ALL I DID NOT GRAB A LOT OF NAPKINS SECOND OF ALL YOU SHOULD OF GAVE ME MORE THAN ONE!! AND LAST AND MORE IMPORTANT WHAT PLACE/ESTABLISHMENT YELLS OUT TO A CUSTOMER YOU CANNOT TAKE MORE NAPKINS!!!!! How freaking tacky is that!!!? I regret so much not asking for our money back! Worst place ever not only service but when we got home to eat the food was so tasteless and...

I am a food reviewer for my Twitch and YouTube channels where I try to give places like Chinese Taste a chance to make themselves known for good food, and a good deal. Unfortunately, as much as I was satisfied with the sweet and sour chicken I had at the time with a Coke, I was left wanting for something better. Allow me to explain - the order process was very good, yes, and the options to create what you want are of a good variety but I did find the eggrolls too manufactured (I'm far too spoiled with my sister-in-law's handmade eggrolls) and the fried noodles weren't very al dente. In fact, they were a bit tough and chewy. The only saving grace was the chicken as it was wonderfully balanced and tasty but could have been hotter in my informed opinion. For a meal that costs about $12, it was filling but came across a couple bits of chicken that were tough to bite through. I did a livestream that day (a Foodie Friday) and gave my thoughts about it. Was it good? Yes, but only marginally. Since Hong Kong Express closed last year it fell upon Chinese Taste to take a spotlight but now because of the food taste, I may not return. The atmosphere inside felt stale and uninspiring to a great degree, plastic covered a multitude of areas (was it being fixed, I wonder?), the menu seemed disorganized behind the counter but managed to stay so my viewers could see me and what was going on at the time to give my honest opinion.

Don't get me wrong, here - I find that the Mains were good but overall, I would hesitate to return unless it looks more inviting where the interior is concerned. The tables and chairs seemed adequate for the place but to me felt it needed more. The exterior looks good with the menu posted on the door and the option to order ahead seems convenient as well.

All in all, thank you for the experience but if I return it would be to see some changes to make it really inviting for customers like myself to suggest this place as...

Took forever to get our food, which is not a problem of the business necessarily. But if I waited so long, I expect good food. Somehow there was a line almost to the door, but we still decided to wait. Once we payed for the food, the guy tried to upcharge us. When we questioned the price, he tried say its because we got three combos. But what actually happened is the guy had put our order into the machine with somebody elses order already there. Eventually another lady helped us and we payed for what we ordered. Not a lot of the food looked fresh. The jalapeno chicken I ordered looked like it had been sitting there. But it tasted good surprisingly. All the food was actually good. What bothered me the most, is they were stingy. They did not fill my whole plate with food when most Chinease food places do. I literally have a picture but im not sure if it will let me add a picture of the food. Also the boba tasted...
