Overall, my experience was going well. The person that was taking orders today (11/02/24 @ 3:43pm) seemed a bit flustered and seemed all over the place if Iām being honest. I ordered a Honey citrus mint tea & pink drink with Vanilla Sweet cream cold foam. When I proceeded with my order, I mentioned the honey citrus mint tea and the person taking my order said she needed to check in the back for tea bags of the old reciepe. I tried to tell her I saw the tea bags used behind her but she proceeded to talk over me about the old & new reciepe. She then went to the back to look for the tea bags and another associate made my order while she was in the back looking for tea bags. When she finally came back I continued to order my pink drink with vanilla sweet cream cold foam . I paid and waited for the rest of my order. While waiting, she was talking with other employees as she proceeded to to make my order. When she finally handed me the pink drink , it had no foam on it. I told her, ā oh, I ordered it with foam on top.ā She then stared at me and said āokay. You didnāt , but Iāll remake itā. I said āyes I didā and she turned around and rolled her eyes. I do not appreciate the attitude that was given. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt, maybe she didnāt hear me. But the moment she gave me attitude I felt the need to complain. But like a mirage in the parched deserts of the Sahara, a lounge area promising a reliable connection to do what is needed it is not. The connection is so spotty that i am convinced they merely took two paperclips and shoved them into a phone jack, as the speeds are abysmal at best, and nonexistent at the worst. It would have been more reliable to go into the canned foods area of the adjacent Target, drain its contents, wander over to their knitting and fabrics area, grab some string, and plug one end into my computer. I have not seen such appallingly slow speeds like this since the early days of dial-up, and quite frankly, such incompetency and neglect towards their network is a horrendous blight on the otherwise mediocre record Starbucks typically...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is actually my second visit to this Starbucks (first time I was ravenous and had to grab a breakfast sandwich, but it was delish) and I was startled by how pleasantly surprised I was. I brought some art supplies with me to take in the energy of shoppers and coffee drinkers as I worked on a piece and got set up as I waited for the rush of customers to pass before I ordered my drink. However, as I realized the flow would probably never cease, I decided to go ahead to the line. Normally, I think I know what I'm doing as I was one of the 1st digit millionth partner numbers š #iykyk but today, Angel had to explain EVERYTHING to me in excruciating detail.
