Everytime we are in town we stop for the best coffee house experience in the thumb. Emma's has all the options of a big city coffee shop and more. Sandwiches, salads, baked goods, and ice cream. Try a Fry Pie if you are looking for a little treat. The salads are huge and the homemade dressings are awesome. There's a drive thru window as well if you are in a rush. There are sugar free flavor options, and they'll happily make adjustments to drinks if you are trying to follow keto or dairy free. Read moreRecently stopped at Emma's with my mom while taking my car into the nearby Ford dealership. Wanted to stop by for some lunch and when I told mom about Emma's, we both wanted to go. In fact we have both wanted to visit for some time and we were not disappointed! Nicole was so helpful! She helped us figure out a delicious lunch. She also explained to me all about bubble tea (had seen it but never been brave enough to try it) and oh my goodness was it delicious! Everything was delicious! Read moreEmma's is one of our favorite places when we come to Bad Axe. There are smoothies and Boba drinks and lots of yummy sweet coffee drinks, but the real star here is the pastries! They have what may be the best apple fritters I have ever had in my life (make sure to get them heated). Ditto for the double chocolate muffins. Honestly though, you can get any pastry and walk out happy EXCEPT the things that are like homemade pop-tarts. We weren't impressed with those. But there are always plenty of other choices.
