Have not been here in a while, may never be back. Order sushi and chicken hibachi at a normal table. Service was slow, but was Saturday night and looked short staff- so excused it. I watch my sushi sit on the counter for about 7 minutes before it was brought to me. The sushi was amazing! The hibachi took a very long time to come out, once it did it was cold. Tried to tough out eating some but between it being cold and lacking flavor couldn’t. Went to try the chicken- ughh nasty dry tiny pieces, looks like left overs. Waiting for server to come back, tired to get servers attention forever. When finally went up the desk to tell a different server about our food, our server then came back and asked. Three of the five of our food was fine, they had already finished their meals by time we were asked how our food was. At first the manager said he take it off, then came back and said give discount and remake it. He said it’d be quick since we had to go. Excited because the food at least felt hot but to our disappointment once home it was still nasty. I always LOVE left over hibachi food- but not this. Something was missing, no Yum factor- lots of blahhhhh. Honestly they may have reheated our food - very high likelihood. Still gave two star because sushi was very good and use to love coming here. Maybe because not sitting where they cook in front of you? But still no excuses for it to be so nasty. Also we normally always eat at the normal...
Read moreSaturday night 6:15 pm. 6 adults & 3 children. We were first customers of the evening. Ordered the combo scallop and shrimp to share $30.95. that seemed okay for a meal to share. The scallops were thin; seemed to be sliced in half even though we were paying a surcharge of $4 to share a meal. So then the meal became $34.95 👎 Noticed the scallops seem to be thin for another at our seating that ordered same combo.. any surcharge seems excessive even when sharing. There was one other table being served with 4 people that arrived sometime after us. The Vegetables & Rice cooked with egg that was served with the meal was good. We had reservations so there was no wait. Soup was good but served in a tiny bowl and they did not bring an extra spoon even though we were sharing and paying a surcharge. Probably would have left when we found out about the surcharge if we hadn't been with others that invited us to meet them there to celebrate a birthday. We typically share when we dine out. Probably are in the minority but we usually have just the right amount of food without getting a to-go box etc. So if you are a "we share" couple, have an extra $4 with you for pretty much nothing other than the fact that you are sharing. the waitress brought us each a glass of water but typically restaurants do deliver water drinks etc to the table. . The chef that prepared our food seemed well prepared to efficiently grill cook...

We ordered the teriyaki hibachi chicken and teriyaki hibachi shrimp to go.
Looks like they have changed their menu since we ordered last (which was about a month ago) and we ordered frequently from them. Their prices have gone up as well for the amount of food you get.
For their lunches, they use to serve the meal with fried rice, soup, and salad. Now it’s either soup or salad and you get white rice instead of fried.
Service - I walked in to pick up our food and was never greeted. A lady, glued to her phone, finally said hi after a few minutes.
Presentation - I’d be generous if I gave them a 3/5.
Soup - now contains tofu and doesn’t taste good at all
Chicken - strips of chicken placed on a bed of sprouts and onions, not diced, and no flavor at all. Very bland. Unsure if there was any teriyaki in it at all.
Shrimp - over cooked and had no flavor at all. Just tasted like cocktail shrimp even though there was some kind of sauce on it.
Salad - the dressing was really sweet and you could hardly taste the ginger
This place use to be good. It’s a shame. We will not order from...
