Birrieria Los Patroncitos Store #01 — Restaurant in Bakersfield

Such a disappointment!!! Picked up 2 chicken Teriyaki bowls. Neither had any vegetables. The rice was mushy and old. The teriyaki sauce was just on top of the chicken and didn’t even cover it. So, needles to say, I paid $13 for mostly white tasteless rice and most of it went straight in the trash. If I could give it negative 5 stars or a zero, I would. So sad! This place was amazing years ago.

Zero quality. Not worth the price. Service was rushed. Unclean! The menu of sushi rolls I was handed was absolutely disgusting to hold or even look at- ruffed around the edges, old, stickered-up, no prices on it, touched by thousands of people over the years. It was so disgusting to hold, especially with all the Covid pandemic going on around. Such an infection control issue! Yuk! It would take a minute to print some copies on any printer! Laziness! This used to be a favorite of mine, the past few years it has declined steadily and is now at a point that I will not return. The staff have always been nice but the food is now horrendous. Not for the first time, the chicken tasted old and was cooked days in advance with old/used water to steam it. This last time I was bold enough to order shrimp and it was precooked and freezer burnt. Both entrees seemed like the were microwaved I'd the same generic sauce and they tossed the veg in last minute, not flavor at all to them (besides old & freezer). The steamed rice even tasted like burnt/dried steam table....

Guy took our order this time, but everytime we go to this establishment they always get the order wrong, weather it be a guy or the usual female who most of the time takes our order and leaves items out. The girl likes to argue and will always blame us that we didn't tell her no sauce or add cream cheese ect...
