There were two young people on staff when I came in and no pending orders. Both people decided to spend their time talking to someone who came in AFTER me (about 9 minutes) with no one even starting my one smoothie. There also couldn't print the receipt from my order and told me if I wanted it they would have to "can in the manager" who wasn't here and I would have to wait for her to get here. When they went to start an order for someone who came in after me, I asked if anyone had started my smoothie because if not and I had to wait for other offers I would rather just be refunded and go home (20 minutes for a single smoothie with two people working the counter is ridiculous).
I was then told I couldn't be refunded either unless I waited for a manager to come in. Seriously? I work and live near here and have a ton of colleagues who I was hoping to recommend this place to. Won't be doing that, in fact I'll be telling them this place is crazy expensive and takes forever. Hopefully whenever this elusive manager is that prints and fixes receipts and gives refunds for poor service actually...

Read moreJust wanted to share my experience with Brazilian Muscle Bowls. I’ve now received moldy sea moss twice. once from their Mount Vernon location, and again from Pacheco.
The first time, they offered a replacement, which I appreciated. I decided to give them a second chance, hoping it was just a one time issue. But unfortunately, the same thing happened again.
This time, I reached out and haven’t heard anything back, which has been really disappointing. I genuinely wanted to support them, but it’s a little concerning when it comes to product quality and safety, especially for something people are putting in their bodies.
