Every time I visit Bakersfield I come to this Starbucks. They usually have really really long lines. Come on, it is a Starbucks and most of them get packed.
The first days I came here it did take awhile to get to the order speaker. If I go thru a drive-thru at a Starbucks I know it will take awhile and I make time.
My most recent visit was a bummer, but then it made up for it the next day. When I came it was closed! I was so sad. There was a banner that stated it was under construction.
I passed by the next day and it was already open! I was so excited. The best part was since most people thought it was still closed the drive through was empty. No line!
I couldn't remember how it was before because I had been here about 3 months before. I just know it looked nice and they had the new screen with the camera, but it wasn't on.
I got my cinnamon dulce frappuchino and my cousin-in-law got a mocha frappuchino. They were both delicious like at every other Starbucks. The prices were the same too.
This location has plenty of parking. The baristas are very nice. At least every time I have come they greet me and give me a smile. 5 stars for their great customer service and...
Read moreOnly the second time to walk into a Starbucks.
(1) mainly because I know people will look at me and blame me for everything wrong in the world. (2) Coffee is coffee and my wife makes a mean coffee.
Sadly, the nonchalant attitude came from a worker, apparently just going on a break.
I walk in, go right to the étagère, looking to replace her lost Starbucks ceramic travel cup and I'm looking hard but don't see them. She comes out from behind the counter, sees me in my lost and confused state, eye contact, and turns away.
I decide to go to counter to ask. The same girl as before steps in front of me to ask a question and to her meal. I know people have only a short time for breaks, but that does not justify or excuse the rude behavior.
Ask! I would have let her, no problem! The woman behind the counter was very helpful and kept a sincere smile.
If not for her, I would have gotten the girls name and contacted the corporate office. Instead I just moved on and now my phone asks how was...
Read moreAfter being to so many Starbucks all around the state and out of state, they all seem to be about the same. No one Starbucks brews a better regular coffee so extrondarly better than another.
Because of this I review them based on speed and how correct my order was completed. I will make a trip over to the oswell and downtown Starbucks to avoid this forever slow Starbucks on Mt Vernon.
After years and years, it still perplexes me how their drive thru is x3 slower than others. You are much better just going inside. My order is usually correct so I gave them 2 stars.
Update: chanting to 1 star because it took about 23 minutes to get through drive thru with only 6 cars(me included). That's roughly 3.5 minutes per car. Just awful people working at this one.
Update two: Increased to 3 stars - this Starbucks is getting better. It gets busy and backed up easily during prime time and doesnt move as quick as Oswell St., but getting down from the car will...
