I absolutely can not believe what I just experienced at the Panda Express, Mall View. Monday May 24th 2:30 in the afternoon I parked and went inside to order. The drive thru had people parking all ascew, and I don't normally use drive thru any ways. The girl greeted me from behind the food line, they have the dining room partitioned off , you can only but step in. Which is fine. She came over, I asked if I could order from the doorway, she said yes, took my order, my, debit card. gave me the receipt. Said to meet her at the side door when my order was ready and she called my name. Today the temperature is 98 degrees, I was in the shade, but its warm. 15 minutes go by, I walk over to that side door. She comes to the door and says were waiting for your egg rolls it'll be 5 more minutes. I said will I've been standing out here now 20 minutes. Oh sorry she says. So I go back to the shade and finally 15 minutes later 3;05 ,she brings my food to the side door. REALLY, this is the "new normal " no fn way will I go back there. That's rudeness of the worse kind, bad business practice, you don't leave a customer standing 30 minutes waiting for food that's already made. My biggest mistake, should have after the first 15 minutes asked for my money back. This is only the 5th time since all this "pandemic " began, that my husband and I have gotten take out . Right now I dont care if Panda Express on Mall View falls to the wayside along with some of the other restaurants. She simply could have said, no, go to the drive through this is for pickup and...
Read moreI made my order online, at 9:12 pm. I went to pick up at 9:40 and was told to wait on one food item. By the time that food item was done, they told me to wait on another food item, so I went home and had my fiancé come to pick it up since I have a newborn. Then they told my fiancé, that I had canceled my order (Which I did not). I had already paid for my order, so I called and asked them why they told him I canceled my order. She said that I said over the phone that I cancelled my order (I called to ask who I needed to call to file a complaint). I did not say that I was going to cancel my order, and told her that I already payed that that I've been waiting on my food for almost an hour and that I'd like to take it home. She then continued to talk over me, refused to let me talk to a manager, and hung up on me. I don't know how I could be treated like this. I paid for my food and they told my fiancé I cancelled my order!! Can you believe that?! I had to tell them to give me the food I paid and waited for! Even worse, by the time I finally got the food, it was all cold! We are both shocked. Never has this happened at any fast food place in the past, I'm definitely going to avoid this location...
Read moreFor the sake of transparency, this happened in 2015. I am reposting this from another site.
I ordered online and was told the food would be ready in fifteen minutes, which is fair. I get there a couple minutes late, stand at the spot with the sign that says "Online Pick-up" or whatever. After waiting there for TEN MINUTES, and watching the staff serve people who walked in well after me, never asking if I've been helped, I speak up and tell them I am there to pick up my online order. The girl I spoke to asked another employee, "hey, is the online order ready?", to which the co-worker responds "pffff, no". The restaurant was not especially busy (two or three groups in line) and they weren't understaffed, so I don't understand why I had to wait an extra ten minutes (already 20-25 minutes after the time it was originally supposed to be ready) for the food to be ready. The food was nothing special, but not awful. The orange chicken was very tough, but the teriyaki chicken and rice were fine. Overall, not the worst choice for food, but don't bother ordering online; you're better off taking...
