I liked the sizzling enchiladas the first time I went. The service was good and the waiter was very nice. There was a mistake with the tip we were trying to leave since service was good. We weren’t able to leave one with our card and it was a mix up. The next day we went back to have dinner and the same waiter that helped us the previous day was our waiter. Literally this time he only took our order and had nothing polite to say which is fine but it was pretty uncomfortable since he was treating and servicing his other tables very differently from us. I literally thought that it might have been because of the tip he didn’t receive the previous day. My bf and I thought we might be wrong but the third time we went we had the same waiter again! And this time he looked at us asked us to follow him sat us down and sent another waiter to help us. While he went and waited on the table next to us. This waiter is Hispanic as so are we. The family he was helping was white and were probably gonna leave a much bigger tip since he was going out of his way to service them. We were given our food after that family and we arrived before them. It was very apparent that he didn’t want to help us lol but I was left with wondering if they only get paid the tips they make or if the Also get paid hourly. I still feel bad for not leaving a tip the first day but then the next couple times we went he was unpleasant. I hate that I didn’t get his name but I hope he reads this because I know he will know this is...
Read moreService was great that’s why they deserve 5 star but they couldn’t carry how the quality of the food tasted. fiesta agua Chile wasn’t the same as the first time I tried it. Something was different about it. The juice had a weird after taste and after spending time trying to realize what it was it was the purple onions they tasted spoiled and not fresh ruined a $24 dollar dish. Tried the sopes and they were soggy so make sure you ask them to make the sopes well done if you want them crunchy . The drinks are over priced and they need work not worth quality prices if you want quality cocktails go to The old fashioned social drinkery on California and realize the difference in high quality cocktails. The carne asada tasted dry and the al pastor tasted decent. So this might all depend on the cooks and the types of meat they get if it was changed during the last time I came here. But hopefully they change this. If you have taste buds and passionate about food you’ll know the difference between different changes in the food you order at the same place. Just a heads up for everyone who feel changes in the food they order don’t be scared to confront this predicament because if it happened to me how many times has this happened before. 5 star for hospitality. Quality of the food isn’t worth the prices. They are taking advantage of the restaurant and are overpricing food that wasn’t at the quality it supposed to be one...
Read moreMy fiancé and I come here often. I always get the surf & turf enchiladas and he always gets something different. I have never had a bad experience here until last weekend. There was a small thin black piece of plastic in my enchiladas I noticed half way though eating them...gross I notified the waitress and she removed the enchiladas off the bill and had them remade and put into a Togo box for us, very cool and nice of her. When we got the bill; $28 of cash and the rest on the card. I wasn't paying attention but my fiancé watched the waitress take the cash out and put it into her apron and charged the whole bill to the card...not cool. He confronted her and she stated that she didn't see the cash and gave us back the $. Weird because if she didn't see it how did she know how much to give back to us? I get that it could've been a misunderstanding but why lie about it? Anyways my husband ate the togo enchiladas for dinner that night and the same black piece of plastic was in the enchiladas..again. I WISH I WAS MAKING THIS UP BECAUSE I...
