I went their to try their new plant based Cheeseburger and get one for my mother for the first time. The drive thru went pretty fast and I ordered my burgers with criss cut French fries 🍟. The staff was fast and friendly. When I got home and bit into my burger 🍔 😋 HOLY COW was I surprised 😳‼️‼️The burger just melted in my mouth 👄.. if nobody had told me I was eating a plant based AKA veggie burger I would of never known because it was that delicious 😋 I'm serious about that. I always loved the fact that Carl's Jr was so good and fresh, at least it used to be! My husband and I went here on Sunday night and our food tasted like it set under a heat lamp for awhile, explains why we got our food so fast! My chicken sandwich was hard and the bacon on it almost broke my tooth! The fries weren't even hot, just barely warm, also not fresh! It was about 10:30 pm and we were the only car in the drive thru, inside was closed! Not worth wasting your money on Carl's Jr, at least not this one, and especially with this night crew working! When you pay $16 for a hamburger, you expect that they’re not gonna cheap out on the sauce. It was probably the most disappointing double bacon western I’ve ever had because someone clearly just tinted the bread with a quick smear of barbecue sauce. It was dry and tasted like the plainest hamburger in the world, literally just beef and cheese. The cherry Coke was questionable as to whether it was even Coke because it discernibly lacked any cherry or Coke flavors.
