Cloud 9 by Covenant Coffee was recommended by one of my childhood friends and the baristas at Beanies Coffee Roasters and Covenant Coffee. The cafe is located in the lower level of the…I think it’s the Wells Fargo Bank. I honestly don’t know the name of the building, but if you are searching for Cloud 9 and you find yourself in what feels like a random parking lot you might just be in the right place. My youngest son thought for sure we were lost, but he has one determined Mom espressolly when it comes to finding coffee shops. After parking you’ll have to walk through a beautiful lobby and question whether you were appropriately dressed. It’s a stunning lobby.

Walking through Cloud 9’s door is exhilarating. You can’t help but feel happy when you enter. The baristas are very friendly. The ceilings are high and accentuates the natural light which floods the cafe. The decor is calming and peaceful. The seating is plentiful and inviting making it a perfect place to chat with friends or work on a project. And they serve Covenant Coffee beans which happens to be a pretty fabulous bean! I definitely enjoyed my cortado.

I was so excited to try this coffee. I am extremely disappointed. Not only was my coffee not made right, a simple order ( I asked for a medium roast hot coffee, add cream and sugar free vanilla syrup). My coffee was served with no cream. When I politely let the young lady behind the counter know that my coffee was missing the cream, the young lady who was making the coffees (there were two young ladies working behind the counter) told her to take off the lid and she added a small amount of cream as no more would fit it was filled to the brim and she handed it to me. I again politely let her know that it was not enough cream and the one who was making the coffees told her to pour out a little bit and she added more cream instead of just making a new coffee the right way. Needless to say, the coffee was horrible, the customer service was horrible . I am frustrated because I drove out of my way to come and try this coffee. I threw the coffee away and didn’t end up drinking it. I will never be...

I went for the Harry Potter week... had a horrible experience... I know with this pandemic everything is changing... my phone was not linking to the table menu no one bothered to help they were too busy making drinks. You can not go inside and they won't come out to help. My internet was not working fast enough they close at 3pm it was about 2:15pm when I was trying to order. My order said it would be ready at 2:55pm. I poked my head in the place at 3:05 and they were all freaking out. I was asking about the my order. I told them it was to go and they told me all orders are to go.. they still brought my 4 items out individually with paper straws in the drinks and without a cup holder. I ordered the specialty drinks of Harry Potter. I can honestly say the only good thing about the drink was...
