VIP Lounge — Restaurant in Bakersfield

I have passed this bar a few times, and happy I went in last weekend. Great ambiance to meet friends or a casual date. Wonderful selection of drinks to wet your whistle, from beers to fancier mixed drinks. The food options were good. We nibbled on sweet potato fries, which were better here than they were at the steak house I happened to swing by earlier that day. There are so many great spots in Bakersfield , but this is one many could classify as their go to spot.

Good times. They now have AMI (no Touch Tunes). Its an old lady party early in the day, they're great though, their conversations are centered on weather, recent deaths, traffic, a bit of gossip etc. Feel like I'm at a family gathering, sitting with the aunt's (Sandy, Pam, Nancy), and my grandma (Jewell- that's her name, she's no gem). Anyway, gotta love the place, been here since high school, and the day bartender is great, once she gets to know you. Not sure anything eventful happens here, doubtful, as the VIP still flys under the radar....

VIP Longe/Bar, has been around for over forty years, maybe even longer. I’ve been here a time or two.
